Bench Seats vs Cupholders

Quick question if anyone has any real insight.

I personally would love to get the bench seat so we can have a 6 person capable truck. My wife who would probably drive it more often since I work at home immediately wants to know how the heck you'd have a cupholder for her morning coffee if you'd have a bench seat.

In a bench seat setup is there any designed way to have driver cupholders when the middle seat isn't necessary?

If no one is sitting in the middle seat there’s a console that will fold down with cupholders in it. It just hasn’t been shown yet.

Now the question I don’t know the answer to is what happens when someone is sitting in the middle seat. Are there cup holders somewhere else?

In my current truck (2015 F-150) there's cup holders in the doors, cup holders in the back of the fold-down middle seat and there's cupholders that can come out of the bottom of the middle seat. When using the middle seat though, only the door ones are accessible. Unless Scout designs them in the dash, I'm thinking there would be no access to any outside of the fold-down section.

Yes. They are called thighs. That’s how we used to roll in the dark times. Back in the nineties when I drove my grandpa’s hand-me-down Plymouth Reliant K car with my nerdy friends and my crusty punk friends and all of my inbetween friends, that’s what held a cup.

Sounds about right. Guess for two in the front you’ll have the fold down console for drinks and if a third in the front they are the drink holder or find an aftermarket that hangs from the door sill?

Vise your beverage in the death grip of the power window glass and that which holds the power window? 3D print a li’l sling for your door? Hang up a macramé plant hanger to give your interior and your dranks a little natural atmosphere?
