2025 prototype paint project preferred colors

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
They may be right. I could have sworn I read you would be able to select between a standard and lifted height spring, but I cant find it.

Having one height for the standard and offroad packages would be unusual. Especially if they offer 33"s and 35"s.

This is all we have for an official answer right now. View attachment 7378
Patience again I guess. I just know I specifically asked was the Traveler lifted and they said no. And it’s on 35s and they said it’s an off road setup. So whatever that means.

All I know is it looks badass with those 35s and whatever the setup is that it’s on.

One setup for 33s and 35s is fine as long as a nice compromise for sway bars, etc, angles is met. You’d just have to have wheel clearance based on the 35s.

I just think the 33" would look funny since the wheel gap would be larger, but I guess I wont know for sure until we see one.

That’s exactly my concern. I’m hoping that when we configure our Scouts they give us detailed measurements for everything including the tire gap difference between 33s and 35s and that the pictures changes and shows it so we can see what it looks like.

My vote is:
  • Dark Green Terra (like in the render for the off-road Traveler)
  • Warm Yellow Traveler (to reward @cyure for the excellent pictures 😘)
Would make me happy too-I just don’t shout Yellow BECAUSE we were supposed to downplay that color so it would be more limited but SOMEBODY can’t help themselves from yelling YELLOW 🤣

I need a sexy color on my terra. The bright or medium blue similar to the last series Tacoma blue or current Silverado blue, a vintage mint green color would be cool or like that marine blue/green, if I can’t get one of those cool colors that pop I’ll go with a bright red. I’m not into the dark or desert matte colors that are popular these days, or black wheels, can’t stand those. Hope Terra can have a lift option. That’s allView attachment 7376
Are you using yours to help find the tremors? Or is the meme from another reference? 🤣

I wonder if what SM means is the prototype mule was just built for the taller look as opposed to lifting a base model since these are fairly locked in-so I would guess ?

Well, I don’t see it as being a top choice for a lot of people, lol. But aftermarket Rallye stripes would be fun. Aquamarine with white/pink/red gradient stripes?
I love the Tuscadaro pink color. I’d feel like they are ripping off Jeep but I had posted this color a while ago and still think it’s a nice sunset/golden hour pink

When they had the pink Wranglers on our local lot I went to go look at them. By the time I got there all but one had sold and that one was being bought when I got there. People like unique.
