2025 NYC photo-measurement requests

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Anybody want to guess what the button next to SOS on the overhead console is? I don’t know- I’m legit asking 😀. Would assume it’s the cabana roof but symbol looks like a rear door. Any chance it’s an ejection seat button?
And the cabana roof is HUGE when you experience it from inside the vehicle. Those thinking cabana roof will be very happy

I can't wait for my cabana top.

My guess is the button next to the sos is ambient lighting.

What i really want to know is what the Scout "S/road" button does.

Looks like the Entry Light button that turns the lights on when you open the door.

I was thinking that’s the lane departure or stability control as I have a similar button on my Accord

Looks like there is already a dedicated button for Traction/Stability Control.

I want to believe the one with the Scout Logo plays Freebird at max volume and summons the ghost of Burt Reynolds dressed up as the Bandit.

Ok, now you’re just showing off. Trying to make everyone else jealous :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I’ll just say make sure you show up when it’s close to your home and make sure you talk to the team, hope for a void in viewer traffic and don’t be afraid to ask -“for the people, for the forum”!!!! But my inner 4 year old was like-WTF, this is SO super cool-can’t believe they said yes and oh my God-don’t scratch or break anything getting in or out -🤣. Taking some locally made treats may have helped a tiny bit too.

I’m deeming that one the ejection seat option-but only available with the optional cabana top

In all seriousness though. If you get to an event-talk to the SM team members because they are all VERY approachable and SO passionate about these vehicles and it just pumps you up hearing their enthusiasm

What’s that? You want more….. OK. Morning shots when sun was glaring so apologies for shadows. Notice the red linear light at the base of the tailgate lid. Nice touch
