  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

Is it called Morning Dusk? That’s a good name. I immediately thought Root Beer when I saw it. I’m digging it

Yes, I think that is a big part of the issue. I like the style of the wheel and you are correct that it is a 35x12.5R22 Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Thank you for listening to me Scout!!!! I love this tire. I would want it in a smaller diameter and width though. I would also opt for a similar...

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

I am looking at the pictures again a little more thoroughly. It appears that the suspension has not really changed meaning it is still somewhat lifted/offroad spec. I think this concept would look better if it were a little lower without so much tire to fender gap. If it has air suspension...

New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

This is way more like what I want! No roof rails and no tire carrier! I am not 100% on the wheel offset. They seem a little bit too wide. But, that might just be the pictures. I really like the interior except the wood. It looks like plywood to me and is way to busy for an otherwise...

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

My first impression when I saw it was the same. It is big. I will keep saying it that I think it is too big.

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

This may not be popular, but I just do not like this color or color combination. The color on the top would look good on the entire body.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

It really sucks because they used to have a lot of great products and often some very innovative ideas. Now they keep the rental fleets full, the recall notice printers in business and attract demographics that I do not identify with. I do hope they right the ship.

Nope. I am a Mopar refugee. It is sad times at Stellantis from my view.

Most Improbable or Impossible Scout Motors Special Edition?

I am not opposed to special editions as long as they are truly limited. Otherwise, they are not special, rare, or more valuable. My 11 year old son is really into sports cards now and I have enjoyed relearning them. They are way different from the 80s and early 90s. There are some truly...

    Google Gemini AI Scout Images

This is more like what I’m wanting. I wouod hope that this image represents the highest air suspension settings. I would want it to sit lower most of the time for easy entry/exit and better aero.

I’m with you. I wish it were smaller. I have seen it and agree it’s big. I would not get a roof rack, or tire carrier. I would opt for all season tires.

Even Falcon would have been better. Futura reminded me.

Traton is owned by VW. Traton bought international and that’s how Scout was able to come back. But, no this is not good news.

Please do NOT use soy based wiring!

We recently had two separate repairs in the shop for rodent repairs that were a little unusual. One of them ate through a hose on an intercooler. The other ate through an oil line for a turbo. One resulted in a an engine replacement. I say again, I hate rats!

I’ve had it in a model 3 and now bmw iX. No problem in South Carolina either. Pano roof is my current preferred option.
