Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Increasing the capacity on the Terra EV would put it at 3/4 ton capacity. The wheelbase of the Terra would not handle it.

    Hopefully do to the possibly that the Terra EV may come in last on production that will give SM time to offer a max pack battery that will hit 400 miles. Also hopefully this max pack model will be on 33s with a suspension that will allow it to lower the ride while on the highway.

    Yes but thats with a WDH which i would never want to deal with. So the EvoTrex would be to heavy for me even with a Riv or Chevy. If your going off road at all you will need a 3/4 ton truck.
