  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Spare Tire, Backpack, or Bald?

A small lip over the bumper to sit on, maybe 🤔

As we get closer to launch. Feature Requests & Real‑World Feedback for Scout

Are you referring to the midgate in the Silverado and sierra EV ( or the avalanche and Escalade EXT before them)

Lamborghinis are also known for being loud fast and a Lamborghini. This new brand of scout isn’t known for anything besides reviving a legacy brand they have a lot more room to try new things than Lamborghini does.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I don’t know if it has been shown, but I would love for scouts to have an external frunk access control. My current car does not have a dedicated button to open the trunk at all, and it has to be manually lifted, and since the front will be used as a trunk of sorts to store groceries and such...

It looks like some “generic” design for an RC car

    Battery technology

Range anxiety is a thing people have and In many cases is understandable, but most cases once you know your vehicle range anxiety is almost nonexistent if not erased completely, I don’t think I’ve felt range anxiety since getting my EV, but while researching and planning my decision I felt it...

    Scout Gift "Unboxed"

I bought a 24x36 inch frame. After the pictures I had seen, I thought it was going to be a 11x14 or something similar? So when I unfolded it, I was kind of surprised, I'll buy how large it is.

If you look through some of the comments on his shorts on YouTube, a lot of people feel that way.

    Scout Gift "Unboxed"

So we can avoid spoilers in the other thread, and if Scout were ever to send anything else, we can keep the visuals here for those who want to share!😁 I got mine today and already had to run to the store, so I picked up a frame. I wasn't aware they came with door hangers now, so I guess for now...

I like Doug's personal channel, but i can't stand his podcast he talks down on almost everything especially EV stuff he over speaks all other hosts and just keep rambling

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

Not every scout is going to be EREV but I would expect post launch to be closer to 70k opposed to 60

    Pre-production roadshow vehicles...

Will reproduction vehicles, not the concepts, allow for the More general public to sit in them and possibly test drive them or are we waiting for something closer to the production models for that? Because given terminology, we have the concepts we will have preproduction. We will have early...

Depending on who you ask some early R1 adopters think they feel better than the “refined” models years later or even Gen2

Yeah, knowing what’s coming before committing would be very important, even it’s vague, as long as it actually comes to light within the timeframe

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

While, I can see some of what you’re saying. Cyber trucks are numerous so in order to sell more and probably not just one of the CEOs other companies they need to cut costs so people want to buy them and getting closer to their promised launch price is a good thing for them. Ford is not...
