From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. Does this design give anyone else thoughts of Range Rover?
Definitely. I’m glad there are both, but this is not my build.
Colors and interior-a bit but exterior design feels uniquely Scout but I’m guessing as PR noted this is mountainside so internment is a mountain retreat ready vehicle so it definitely conveys luxury

The wheels on the Mountainside are the wheels that were on the Pacific Mist Traveler.
After seeing this I’m still 110% tire carrier, aggressive tires and wheels and a color (PBY perhaps).
This build looks like it has a glass roof. Now I need to see this in person because that’s the one thing I’m back to 50/50 on. I really don’t know.
Love that they are thinking outside of the box.

I’m really really leaning towards rhe cabana roof now. If I can get a light colored headliner I think I’m all in.
Comments were made that a shade will be part of it. Having had the RZ approx 4-ish months now I will comment on the roof. The RZ has a very large fixed electrochromic panel. When “on”/in frosted mode it is awesome and offers diffused light but next to no heat gain. My complaint now that we’ve had it is when you turn it “off”/clear you never have a crystal clear view so for someone like my who love architecture, looking up at buildings in a city isn’t as enjoyable as it slightly distorts and appears slightly tinted (and maybe that was Lexus’ choice in glass but just an observation that would lead me to not upgrade to a feature like that.
You know, when I got my Rivian I had concern about the sun. But Rivian's panoramic roof is tinted and I've never had an issue with the sun baking me while driving. In fairness, I don't live in the south either!
