Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Who was asking
Looks like a computer mouse to me
I’m just wondering who woke up and decided “this is where I’m gonna let the dice fall!l Like, who decided this what people want: an unholy marriage of two extremely polarizing car designs? Is it going to unite the people in hating it?

So I know someone posted this earlier today but while watching the SM Rival commercial I saw this video. I have to say there is a ton of great stuff with this vehicle and as a two-door look the next smaller scout tcould take a lot of this and just Scoutify it since it does look somewhat Scout. This is a great video as thinking and concepts go

The front end looks very scout. Even those headlights have the binoculars shape.

I really don’t see much resemblance other than the sloped sheet metal toward the rear, but that’s about it. The shoulders are totally different. The mirrors aren’t even close. The fender flares aren’t the same. The door handles are missing in the rear and totally different on the front. I really don’t see it.

Maybe a lil Scout in the rounded nose?

Those look like suicide doors, so you would need to open the front to release the back (no handle).

The steering wheel is awful and the headrests just float in mid-air.

And if you thought Teslas were bad with all touch screen, this thing takes the cake. Amazing what you can do with AI today though~!

I think the closest resemblance is the shape of the nose. The way it has the "mask" going on, and the way the sheetmetal tapers back under it to the grill. That area and then the way the door kinks looks like the same kind on the Traveler's back window and the Terra's door. I certainly wouldn't call it a carbon copy, but I think it was pretty heavily influenced by Scout.

That's crazy - to me it does look similar but at the same time not... Pretty advanced...

If Tesla decided the next Model 3 needed to have the Cybertruck's styling... this is what I imagine it would look like.
Ok, no one asked.

Good, depending on your love of the Christian Bale Batman movies, for the exterior styling, I was reminded of a cross between this:

And

My memory of the movie is obviously faulty, the "Tumbler" batmobile looked much better in what I remember, maybe it was a different car in a different scene.
Maybe I thought of "batmobile huracan" because a black Huracan was in the news recently.

Bad: where are my buttons!

Personally, if I could buy a Chinese EV in the USA, I would start by looking at the Xiaomi YU7
