FB find of the day

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I’ve been warning anyone who will listen, even Congress through invited testimony, that China is two decades ahead of us in the technologies that matter for space exploration (and, sadly, dominance): Solar and Battery tech. I got yelled at by several members of Congress for saying as much.

We can’t burn fossil fuels in space…
We don’t know how to do fusion...
We don’t have enough plutonium for fission...

I’ll let someone else do the math.

We need to listen to the scientists. It makes me so mad that we don’t.

It’s a sad state as technology is concerned

There’s a great short video on Instagram. I can’t post the video but it’s worth a quick watch. I completely agree, Scouts are going to be iconic!

Here is the FB version of interview @cyure posted for those with FB. Was first feed when I opened FB a moment ago so if you have FB you can watch it now
My wife has facebook and just watched it with her - I got excited and all she could say was I'm such a goof! Oh well.... :)

I’ll be a goof with you! My husband says the same thing to me, different wording but similar sentiment. 😹
Ironically when I showed her the concepts for the Audi version she perked up and suddenly got interested because she’s always wanted an Audi SUV like a Q7 but being the banker she can’t justify the costs. I suspect she’ll love the Scout and as soon as the Audi hits the market she’ll want one-which is cool. Being a 2-scout-1 Audi BEV family would be cool. Maybe an opportunity to do a story on my crazy family. 🤣

Other than the few women on here I don’t think wives understand our passion toward the new Scouts
My partner just doesn’t do forums. She totally understands the interest in the Traveler and if we bought it, it would be for her, not me—the Lightning is “my” truck. The Mustang is “her” car. And whatever we replace the Mustang with will be “hers.”

I get it. I never have been on a forum before either. Actually never posted on social medial either. I still am shocked I posted in the first place and there are days where I think “how did this happen?” 😹

So what does she like and what is her first choice color this far?
