Scout Terra Debuts in New Silo Color and Retheme

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I hope there will be a bed cover, perhaps electric? Would love to stash my surfboard or bike in there while at work, for quick access to use soon after clocking out... Otherwise, looks great.

Scout. “People. Connections. Community. Authenticity." Welcome to the Scout community. Enjoy the ride. 🛻 🚙
Remember the built in search on the forums is a great place to start getting answers to your many questions. 😀

So an electric tonneau wouldn’t really be a good fit for you, right?
Only for tailgating. GO BILLS

A lot of guys were running 35”s with 15” wheels for extreme stuff back in the day.

Now 37”s and 40”s are on mall crawlers; probably ending up with the same amount of sidewall on the larger wheels.
That’s why an 18” rim should be max for a vehicle that will go off road (I’d prefer a 17” rim, but I get that sometimes there is a sacrifice to fit bigger brake pads). There is a reason why AEV with their 40” wheel uses a 17” Rim. More sidewall means better off road performance, and a softer ride on road.

Plus a smaller wheel with a bigger tire just looks ‘chef kiss’ 😘

Just now noticing that it doesn’t look like the center jump seat folds down with this front seating option. I hope that changes in production. I literally converted my higher trim F150 to a “bench” seat with a column shifter for this seating arrangement, but it’s nice to occasionally have the center storage/two extra cup holders/arm rest with the center seat back folded down.

I’ll also echo another member’s earlier comment about wanting a grab handle on the driver’s entry A-pillar. This is a feature I have on my F150 and I use it EVERY time I enter and exit to minimize wear on the lower seat outside bolster. Most worn item on any truck, even most without a lift!

Welcome to the community. That bench should have a center part that folds down. I took pictures of the concepts at Nats and you can see that it’s divided. As for the grab handle, a forum member went and saw the concepts in NYC. And asked that question. He posted on the forum that he was told there would be one.

Welcome again!

Welcome to the community!

Jamie has confirmed that the production model with the bench seats will fold down when not in use. The concepts can’t fold down as they are just to show the bench seats

Welcome aboard and thanks for expressing your concerns. I see others have already confirmed there will be a fold down so hoping that eases your mind 😀. Check things out and note the search button as it’s a great help to find topics you might have questions about. After nearly 3 years there’s a LOT of info on here to absorb if you are so inclined. Enjoy your time

Thanks everyone! I love the F150 I’ve got but hope the time flies by because I’m ready for my Terra! I’ll start using the search function to dig deeper!
