And it sure is fun to beat a Porsche Taycan from 0-60MPH off the line in an American-made pickup truck that costs way less (and offers the same range!)200K for 318 mile range of excitement. To rich for my blood.

My sentiments exactly. And it sure is fun to beat a Porsche Taycan from 0-60MPH off the line in an American-made pickup truck that costs way less (and offers the same range!)
I was talking about the Taycan most people buy! Not the Weissach edition! The base Taycan achieves 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, and the 4S model does it in 3.5 seconds, all with Launch Control.![]()
Record Setter! 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Weissach Sets New 0–60-MPH Mark
The 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Weissach is the first car we’ve ever tested to hit 60 mph in less than 2.0 seconds—and the Turbo GT is no slouch, either!www.motortrend.com
"The new 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT Weissach launches from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.89 seconds (2.10 seconds without our standard 1 foot of rollout). That’s 0.05 second quicker (with rollout; 0.04 without) than the second-quickest car we ever tested, a slightly heavier non-Weissach Taycan Turbo GT, and 0.18 second quicker than our previous 0–60 champ, a pre-production Tesla Model S Plaid, which hit the mark in only 2.07 seconds. (That latter figure, if you can believe it, was a disappointment to Tesla; the quickest production Model S Plaid we’ve tested needed 2.24 seconds.)"
Im not even sure if the Gen 2 Quad can pull that off.
