  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Re-think Headlight Design

There seems to be some context missed about this light/grill design. They using it as a "logo" in a since. As it has been shown in the vehicles as smaller detail, and on these stickers

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I don't know how "real" but they are official enough to be in video games

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I would say, with current EV battery tech, heated seats and wheel is a must at a "base level" You can get better winter range by useing them as your main warmth and less havc. This is what i would do at Amazon in the Rivians and I was just about the only one to ever finish my route with range to...

Is Chrysler even still really here? They make one vehicle now?

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Be awesome to see some of the early outlines one day after launch

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

We can wish for scout to start with the lowest reservation models to get them out the door first. Quickest crowd to serve, BEV Terra

    Re-think Headlight Design

People already say it looks like bronco, it would be worse if they went round, but the original scout came first, but that doesn't matter to modern consumers

EV reservation holders, would you consider the Harvester

Fair thought, but it also depends on how long those stops are, if you're "full" charging at both, then it might be on the expensive side, but if you're just charging enough to get to the next one it might not be, not to mention uncontrollable environmental factors like weather and traffic

EV reservation holders, would you consider the Harvester

With reasonable driving (not accelerating or braking too hard and cruising at speed limits or occasionally going about 5 under) in my Bolt I can get 310 from 80%. EPA was 246 from 100%

    Scout Gift "Unboxed"

Your thank-you card is orange? Is that a Traveler thing? Mine's a deep Blue... so are they supposed to match the debut colors shown on the website?

EV reservation holders, would you consider the Harvester

I would say to watch GM, if they make a Tahoe\Yukon EV they might hit those ranges

EV reservation holders, would you consider the Harvester

This winter we're planning to take my car out there and see how "stressful it really is in an EV other than added time because the bolts slower charging speeds and smaller battery I don't think it'll be all that bad, but I also just enjoy chewing miles

Personal real example. We have a Volt. When I had the charger, I was a little jealous that my partner only got gas once at that time because we left the lot with half a tank of gas, and they wanted to top it off, meanwhile, I was going out of my way every few nights to get gas, so once they said...
