  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    Battery used

Keep in mind that the majority of batteries for Scout production vehicles can be imported into the US after the current administration is gone. I'm quite certain that (regardless of party affiliation for the next administration) we will resume some semblance of normalcy when it comes to...

I might be wrong, but I don't think OEM's produce any vehicles with side mirrors deleted, due to local laws requiring physical side mirror(s) in order to be considered street legal.

Interior Concept: Could Scout Interiors Be Inspired by American Landscapes? — Florida Everglades & Cypress Wetlands

I'mma gunna pass on the swamp-gator interior, but I'm sure I can find something I'll like in the wild.

Drivers not happy with their car screens

These aren't screens and SW from the 2000's. Screens don't get slower with updates - if anything the SW optimizations make everything more responsive in modern vehicles.

100%. I need a bumper that is also FLAT on the top that I can stand on - esp at the tailgate! It doesn't have to be the full length of my foot, but a good toe-hold on top would be nice, and provide some added protection too. Rivian is a better than Range Rover in this department, but not by...

I really like the interior changes. Well done. Not a fan of that front bumper though. AI did something too mini-vanish to it! LOL

Yes, agreed, not for me, but sharp & very clean! I can't tell, but did the silver bits on the bumper and chin get grayed-out? If so, that is great touch. I would love to see that on the Terra, too. I may need to dust-off my ascot and smoking jacket for a test drive in this refined looking rig...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Let's be honest. I think this conversation needs a refresher on truck weights and towing. Scout isn't building 3/4 or 1 ton series vehicles. Those vehicles are optimized for towing heavier loads, handling higher tongue weights and they behave much better than 1/2 tons that are at capacity. If...

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

A lot of patent applications are filed preemptively but never turn into actual production features. Its a way to capture ideas and future proof the business in case something gets legs and sticks. Do I see that sticking? I don't think Scout will invest the resources into developing something...

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

I put one of these on my R1T for running my 1-Up MTB rack... When the rack is folded up against the tailgate, it keeps the racks away from the paint, and makes the rack easier to take on and off...
