Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Wait, I’m confused. How’d they get the kids inafter filling the back seat with luggage? Or were the kids sitting on top of the luggage? And how did they manage to squeeze the front closed when it was piled above the opening?

    Definitely cool, though Reaper, Scythe, and Harrow all sound kinda dark. They can’t all be black…

    Phone cooler

    I don’t have wireless charging in my car, and I’ve had times when it won’t charge due to overheating. There’s not always good options about where to put it, and it can get warm from plugged charging. Sometimes I hold it up to a cooling vent to cool it down a bit.

    Yeah, I’m thinking I might need to wait for a smaller Scout. I just can’t abide the lack of buttons and mechanical door handles in the r2, though otherwise it seems pretty good.

    Yeah, it seems like I’ve heard more than once that the reason you don’t see crank windows anymore is because electric ones are actually cheaper for the manufacturer. ( I don’t remember the details but I saw it on the internet so it must be true). Anyway it seemed like an odd choice for slate...

    What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

    Sorry to hear of your 12v battery issues. It’s said to be a problem with Hyundai/kia EVs as well. Any other thoughts on your experience with uncharted/solterra? I’ve been seeing a lot of positive vibes wrt uncharted, but it’s hard to tell if it’s real or marketing.

    Realistically, it’ll probably take some time to investigate, i.e. was it really FSD or the driver that was in control. Then if FSD was enabled there’s still a question as supposedly the driver is supposed to be in control even when FSD is being used. You can bet Tesla will do everything they can...
