  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Change of Heart?

You nailed it. Consistent on brand messaging! PR is doing work. And yes, tiring for sure.

    Change of Heart?

It’s a typo. Blythewood* Umm not sure if you’re aware but, Scout came back to the state of SC seeking an additional $200 million. Shortly after investing $200 million in NC. I’ I understand that you’re not familiar with me. Your comments come off as passive aggressive. Keep in mind, my...

    Change of Heart?

Alright, I’m posting this from what is somewhat “ground zero” here in Richland County, home of the first modern-era plant for Scout Motors. My perspective from here on the ground feels very different from the national PR messaging. From what I’m seeing and hearing locally: Scout appears to...

    Engine in the Harvester - EA211 ?

Does any one know if, in the event the motor fails, if the Scouts will still operate properly as a full electric?

    Rear Wiper Hopes & Dreams!

It seems like it would be cheaper to add a digital rearview camera. And for the love of all things new, please hide wiper at the top. A split tailgate with a bottom mounted wiper is bizarre, especially when the cost to simply move it, is nothing.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

My Dad has them on his F-150. He folds them regularly especially when squeezing through the gate in the back yard.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

This is what they released a few months ago.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Circling back months later. But I'd love it if they offered a trim level with body-colored bumpers and rocker panels.

Consumer Freedom and Scout Motors in South Carolina

Hi Cody! We got your email. And I certainly reached out to my local Richland County Delegation. Despite the fact that Scout has adamantly seemed closed to the idea of inviting anyone from Richland County (outside of Blythewood) in. Non-profits have been ignored, community members have been...

The reveal of the Scout Traveler SUV and Scout Terra truck concepts ushers in a new Scout era - Official Press Release and Photos

It all sounds great! I’m interested to see where the price range tops out at. I’m guessing $90k.

How will service be offered for Scout Vehicles?

It would be cool if they created Established a network of mobile mechanics. Not sure how cost effective it would be.

NADA going after Scout Direct to Consumer

They better become used car lots.
