  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Mental Health Days are definitely a thing. I prescribe going so you can ease your anxiety by seeing one in person.

Is there anything SM could offer to get you to switch from EREV to BEV?

You also can't pump gas if an EMP goes off..

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

I have a set of shocks that could fix that for you.... adjustable rebound helps a lot with the big meats. But you're right, the weight is something we dont always consider when moving up in size. This video convinced me to give Pizza Cutters a shot

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

I ran a set of their 33X10.50R17s on my 2004 GX470 for a while, and 275/70R18s on my 2013 GX460. Really like these tires. Quiet on the road but perform well offroad when they are aired down. I may try to weigh the spare in the next week or two but they aren't too heavy compared to the factory...

Little Buddy has strep, but is feeling much better today after a shot in the keister and his first round of antibiotics. Thank you! I am really happy with how it turned out

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

Yesterday was a big day at the Chavannigans Garage. I took the day off and got an early start. The delivery driver called me at 9:00am and was there 15 minutes later to drop off my new wheels and tires. Ditched the 20X8 +60 factory wheels for the 17X8.5 +25 after I installed new Power Stop...

That was her 5th car accident in 2 years 🥴 She has also been physically aggressive with me recently, including a pretty serious incident last year that left me with some deep bruises for a few weeks. I’m honestly relieved and just taking it one day at a time. Keeping myself busy as a solo...

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

Well it’s been quite the year so far. My wife flipped my GX470 last month and had an existential crises before moving out. Basically all the years I’ve spent planning my next vehicle purchases and their builds are now out the window just months from the finish line. Sounds like we will be...

What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

Im currently waiting for an offer letter from our University's School of Nursing. I have been busting a— in our Classroom Technology department but I ask too many questions for our leaderships taste, and this new position will give me an opportunity to build and lead a whole department of my...

New TFL Scout video just dropped Man I would love to go to this. I just got the Noah Kahan record I preordered earlier this year. Sounds like a great time all round for those that can attend

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

That is what the experience centers and marketing tours are going to be for. They will give folks an opportunity to touch one and sit in it first if they are willing to drive somewhere to do it.

Don't let the Scout become a status symbol; why $60k misses the point of the Revival

I feel like this entire thread is a group of people talking to a Chat Bot.

    Off-topic stuff…

    I love all of you.

There are reports that one of the Rivian factories was hit by a tornado last night

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I’ve wanted to do a trip to Dead Horse or Tuktoyaktuk. Probably in 2028. I would definitely be down to link up in a Northern state and ride together. I was a mechanic in my past life and know first aid.
