  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Favorite Trail for your New Scout?

Probably the same trail we took my wife’s JLUR to when we first got it.

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

Is your congressman sick of hearing from you about auto manufacturers complying with the upcoming EV mandates? Mine is. Point your energy where it can make a difference. Whining about EVs on forums and social media does nothing. I’m curious if you own or have owned an IH Scout? It seems...

    Please limit immediate resale.

Please consider limiting resale for preorders like other manufacturers have previously. This will let the real enthusiasts get them and limit profiteering. Nearly every other anticipated vehicle ends up on sites like Bring A Trailer or Cars and Bids immediately after release. People buy them...

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

The first shot i saw was the terra driving by. I looked where the roof should have met the body and had the same reaction. "Nope. They didnt get it right" was my thought. But i didn't turn it off. I at least wanted to see the thing. I had already endured nearly an hour delay from the...

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

Im very, very, very impressed with what they came up with. I think it's a design that will make many new scout lovers. The side profile is incredible. The drivetrain sounds promising and I'm very curious to see details of the axles. I want something that challenges the jeep and makes the...

    What did you reserve?

Traveler with Harvester for us. Already have two trucks, only have one SUV though. :ROFLMAO: I might even have this one on the road by then.

Will Scout ever build a competitor of the Wrangler and Bronco?

I really didn't think I'd like it at all without a removable top. But I like what you came up with, even if it's not a Scout to me. I like it so much I put a deposit in since we were planning to get my wife a new commuter in the expected delivery time frame. We're both Scout fans and long-time...

New Scout Trucks To Be Revealed October 24, 2024

My operator's manual says you're right, but I think it's semantics of the time. What most of us call the pickup or truck top was the standard cab top, and the more common full-length top was the Travel-top. I believe the scout was labeled as a "run about" instead of a pickup to differentiate it...

Scout CEO says he'll have real buttons

Thank you for making the proper choice here. I think everyone has gotten a bit carried away with touch screens. After trying the 12" screen in a ram I was thrilled to buy one with an 8.4" and physical buttons.
