From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. I’m hoping they revisit this for the traveler but maybe not the matte finish. Or even a touch lighter-it’s a pretty shade of blue as the gray tones it down a bit.
I just saw a recent post from SM on loved it. I think I love the flat look to it, and I think this might be my new top choice over Tahitian Red. Of course that is as long as it is available for Traveler. Call it my PBY if you will

Agreed. Looking at the poll I would say a blue would be a strong bet for sure.

I have AI put the all colors on this version of the Traveler (Trail ready, but with the 20" wheels swapped for the 18") so that I see which one I like the best as this is basically my build. I save them all on my phone. I know, nerd alert. Here it is on the Traveler:
I like it, but it's a little too dark for me. Harder to keep clean on a daily basis. I LOVE matte, but some on here have said it's a pain to take care of so for that reason, it would probably be out for me.
This looks great, a subtle white pinstripe would break up the dark coloring.
Agreed. Definitely needs some striping, but forget subtle I want mine to loudly and proudly proclaim its a Scout
I’d love to keep this color, add a touch of green to go a bit more toward peacock and lose the matte I’d be loving this. I like the matte but unless you PPF it after I just can’t see SM offering matte out of the factory. I think this color as a metallic with a nice silver or maybe gold flake could look beautiful. Or maybe some bronze flake metallic over the blue with bronze wheels????
I’d like the shadow graphic like the Tahitian had but I want the graphic the color of this rendered paint and make the paint a hair lighter. Somewhere between this and a Brittany blue-like color. I liked that tone on tone shadow graphic

I like the graphics and would go with matching color wheels.
I was thinking going a little more bronze with the graphics to match the wheels, but pretty much thought the same thing.
Throw me some nice blue calipers behind those bronze wheels and I'd be a happy camper.
I don’t think anyone has mentioned colored calipers. It’s always a nice added option.
I think we need blue and orange. Scout colors. Blue with orange logo or orange with blue logo calipers.
I had the calipers on my daily driver powdercoated a medium/dark orange. With a lot of metallic flake in them though, when they catch the sun, there's a lot of yellow coming out for some real depth. Love the orange!

Hmm, just realized this is almost identical to the color on my old Scion FR-S. Apparently I have a very specific orange I prefer...
