As much as I love them, they aren’t practical. K03s or something similar are going to have to do.

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Tires are my open ended thinking as well. Love the look don’t need 30 decible hum driving down the road
oh - and the tire carrier depends upon the permit to modify my garage depth... (although I *really* want it)
Carrier is a given for me. And if backpack can be interchangeable with spare I might consider that as an option as well
Oh I hope you can. I’m 100% carrier all the way. It’s a requirement.
I don’t think I would use it all that much. Especially with a frunk. And knowing my luck I would get a flat when the spare was at home.
With my judging it would be great to throw gear in and just keep it there
A quality A/T tire in 35’s is not going to be loud. My brother runs the KO3’s on his Chevy Colorado (he had the KO2 before), and that’s not a vehicle known for quality sound deadening, and the tires are very quiet. The stock tire on my TRX was the Goodyear Wrangler Territory A/T, and it was kind of a hybrid A/T and Mud Tire combo, and at 40,000 miles it was stupid loud. I switched to the General Grabber A/Tx and they have been fantastic.
What I’m getting at is chose the right A/T, and even in 35’s (still hoping for a 37 option on the Terra), and noise won’t be an issue. Scouts selection of the KO3 is spot on.
I think the carrier would come into its own on the really long trips where you're just cramming the vehicle full. That said... I'm pretty sure between the rear and the frunk the Traveler would have more room than our Atlas with the 3rd row down. So the carrier may be a moot point anyhow.

A dedicated highway tire will always be quieter than an A/T, but the KO3’s are pretty dang quiet. I was going to go with them on my TRX, but the 35’s were only available in a Load F, which was more than I wanted. We’re close to replacing the tires on my wife’s Colorado, and she will get the KO3’s when it’s time.
