New Scout Traveler Concept Added - Mountainside Theme

From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

I don’t think so. Only because they removed Blythewood from the plate in the door of the first Traveler concept and my understanding is part of the reason for that is because it wasn’t built there.
Now it says Made in The United States.
Maybe I misread it, but this sounds like a second Traveler concept vehicle.
"The new trail-ready Scout Traveler concept vehicle, Mountainside Scout Traveler SUV and Scout Terra concepts will make their debut at the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience, September 4–6, 2026."
As such, I have to assume this is what happened to the body that we previously saw in the factory, though maybe I'm connecting dots where there are none.
It’s a second one yes, there’s two now! Hopefully that means more opportunities to see them.
I hope it’s more off to the side on the carrier and not smack in the middle like that.
Jamie mentioned it'd be similar but offset to the left more. Hopefully they offset it as far to the left as possible if it won't be centered.
I agree. I was really thinking about going without the tire carrier until I saw this and personally feel the tire carrier adds a lot visually (even if it's a pain to swing out of the way before using the rear storage). It's amazing though that Scout can turn the rugged Traveler we've seen into essentially a Range Rover with some tires, paint (or wrap), and deleting the rear tire carrier. Kudos to the design team for such versatility!
I like the setup with the 35's and 22's on the Pacific Mist a little better. I love my 22's on my Rivian but give me those of-road 35's on the Pacific Mist! I LOVE the color though. Charcoal Brown? Amazing.
Does anyone have any idea of whether Scout will have all these colors for us to look at in person (assuming we want to go where they have them) when it comes time to purchase? I LOVE these light-shifting colors like Pacific Mist, Silo Green, and the new Morning Dusk. I will likely get one. But colors are really personal and I'm going to want to see them before I choose one so I know if it's really right for me.
I've never noticed it before, and can't tell if it's just an odd camera angle on this new model, but is the driver's screen not perpendicular to the driver?

I'm gonna guess not. Even larger dealerships with lots of inventory don't usually have all of the colors on the lot. It'd be cool if the Scout centers at least had a fender or something of each color that could be brought outside to see in different lighting. It'd be better than trying to extrapolate from a tiny paint sample, but not as good as seeing the whole vehicle.
This is why I’m trying to see them all. Ha!
I’m thinking at the Scout retail locations they will have panels of all the colors like they do in the Rivian spaces. Light really does affect some of these colors a lot. Part of the reason we stay so long is so my husband can get pictures in all the different lighting conditions.
I know I want to buy my Scout as soon as I have the opportunity so I may need to order sight unseen so to speak, so if I have to drive to see a new color, I’m driving.
Hard to say, maybe it's the curvature of the dash throwing me off.
They might have the curved color samples we saw in a recent video...
