Scout Concepts in Scottsdale, Arizona, April 25, 2026

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
They would probably get the R2 except they don’t want to wait that long for the light colored interior and they don’t want the black leather to fry them. They’re new to AZ and still adjusting to the heat. I will pass the other suggestions on. They asked for opinions on the Subaru EV SUVs if anyone has them too
IMO they should also look into the Subaru Trailseeker. I think that could offer a potential best of both scenario for them.

Okay now that I’m back home, here’s my debrief from the weekend: Silo Green looks fantastic on the Terra. Out of all the colors I’ve seen, it’s my favorite so far. Really hoping it makes it to production. The satin white is super clean too.

The vibes from the crowd were great. There was a lot of excitement from longtime Scout fans and also from people discovering the brand for the first time. I heard a lot of positive feedback, and quite a few people said they like the design better than Rivian.

I had the chance to chat with Chris, Kathy, and Jamie, which was awesome. The merch line was crazy. I’m pretty sure they almost sold out.

It was also really cool seeing so many younger people getting into Scouts, both old and new, and falling in love with them. Makes me happy knowing I’m not alone 😂 Overall, an awesome time. So glad I went. Wish I could make it to all the events.

After a few days away from the Scouts and with additional time to think about things, we’d love to see the Traveler on 30” or 31" tires with stock height.

The (to us) silly-looking tonka wheels and tires and “lift" made it feel much larger than it probably will be with sensible shoes.

We do a lot of off-road travel with very little rock crawling—and would never rock crawl in a $70k truck—but have never needed tires as big as 35s and certainly will never need or want anything like 37s. I think 31s would be perfect on the Traveler.

Nah 35's on mine lol. But yeah seeing 33's on a 18 Traveler could definitely catch the eye of a whole new potential set of buyers.
I was all for 35s, but range and climbing in. I don’t like running boards. 33s will give me better range and I can get in no problem without running boards without having to pull myself in.

I don't like running boards either but I love me some rock sliders 😉

I agree with you. That Silo green is such a cool color. It's definitely something you need to see in person as photos don't do it justice. I asked Jamie if it was going to be offered and all he could tell me is there has been a lot of good feedback. So hopefully it makes it to production.

I want to see this color in
When you see it in natural light it brings out the color so strongly. In the direct sun you can see hints of gold but in the shade it shows more green. It's really cool. I showed my wife pictures from the LA auto show where it was outside but under covering. I told her the color is so unique and pictures didn't show what my eyes saw. When she came with me to Scottsdale, she got to see it in person and agreed it is an awesome color. I hope you get the chance to see it before they change it up again.

I know I don’t want white. So I won’t be heartbroken not to see the white Traveler, but I really want to see Silo.
