Expecting options like Tesla. Take a look at most any other competitive EV on the market and it has options like performance. So you were expecting Rivian quad motor performance, EREV range, and half the cost of a Rivian?

This is what I picture. A reaper trim. Blacked out with red accents. Street tires, on air suspension so it can be lowered, no tire carrier or roof rack. Just sleek looking and screaming fast.Expecting options like Tesla. Take a look at most any other competitive EV on the market and it has options like performance.
I would love to see a trim that has everything. I want to strap myself to a rocket and power my home. This is what I picture. A reaper trim. Blacked out with red accents. Street tires, on air suspension so it can be lowered, no tire carrier or roof rack. Just sleek looking and screaming fast.
The continued big question is the ranges posted for Scouts this far standard or extended. I’m guessing extended so there will unfortunately be an upgradeExpecting options like Tesla. Take a look at most any other competitive EV on the market and it has options like performance.
Maybe it’s the middle range. We just don’t know. The continued big question is the ranges posted for Scouts this far standard or extended. I’m guessing extended so there will unfortunately be an upgrade

Those big Rivians cost as much as my first house!Yolo
They're more than 20% more expensive than my first house. And federal minimum wage has only been increased once since we bought that first house...Those big Rivians cost as much as my first house!

I sure wish my first house cost that much :/.They're more than 20% more expensive than my first house. And federal minimum wage has only been increased once since we bought that first house...
It dawned on me that as I am expecting my Scout to land somewhere around $85 K that the first townhome my wife and I lived in was $79K. Wow, that is an eye opener. So far I have not come all that close to buying a car that cost more than my first house - but in all fairness, the person I purchased it from 1 year earlier bought it for $75k - so the Scout might end up coming close (but I paid $100, sold it 3 years later for $130 - saw it on Zillow a few years ago at $850k, but is back down under $400k).
Also looked up my second house on Zillow - for rent newly remodeled. About all the changes they made in 20 years were in the bathrooms. They ruined the master bath - oh and put in a God awful butcher block top on the island, oh and painted the hardwood banisters white (who the hell wants something you touch multiple times a day white). Biggest changes were ones I made 20 years ago (to sell it). Terrible white tile is still in the kitchen as well. I almost killed my self scrubbing that damn grout back to white with bleach. It peaked in the mid 700's in Zillow - but given the rent, it is also down below $400k I bet.
My first place was a $199K condo. The thought of a car costing that much is not something I feel at all comfortable with. That’s getting into the kind of territory where I’d worry about being executed by the secret police in the communist revolution if I was like WHY YES I HAVE A $200,000 CAR: HERE I AM, CASUALLY DRIVING IT TO 7-ELEVEN FOR SCRATCHERS or something. It dawned on me that as I am expecting my Scout to land somewhere around $85 K that the first townhome my wife and I lived in was $79K.
