Looks like you get front under seat storage with the bench seat. We have under seat storage with the rear bench in my wife's Maverick, very handy.I am going to try and post this again since one of the pictures didn't come through before: I noticed the Terra has storage space under the seat and the Traveler does not. I also like the running boards on the Terra and hope there will be a similar option on the Traveler. As of now, I am leaning towards the Traveler, which is what I reserved. If they get the towing capacity up, it will seal the deal.
I had a BMW Sedan years ago and it had a small storage tray under the drivers seat that slid out. Very handy.Looks like you get front under seat storage with the bench seat. We have under seat storage with the rear bench in my wife's Maverick, very handy.
Handy that it slid out. Otherwise you have to be a contortionist to get anything out from under the front seat. Handy feature.I had a BMW Sedan years ago and it had a small storage tray under the drivers seat that slid out. Very handy.
Maybe rear Terra seats will be fold ups with storage under. That’s a nice featureHandy that it slide out. Otherwise you have to be a contortionist to get anything out from under the front seat. Handy feature.
They could probably give some storage under the rear seat in either Traveler or Terra. Extra storage is always welcomed.Maybe rear Terra seats will be fold ups with storage under. That’s a nice feature
That’s where the Grenadier has the batteries is under the back seat. Any reason for anything like that to be under the Scout back seat?Maybe rear Terra seats will be fold ups with storage under. That’s a nice feature
Thanks for the comments!Got a chance to walk around, spend some time there with both vehicles, my focus was mostly on the Terra since that's my reservation.
Overall- I was very impressed with how rugged and solid these feel in person. Other thoughts-
- The bench seat make the front feel so roomy.
- The tailgate feels a little cheap with so much plastic, I think they could simply a little there.
-Grill and front of the Terra seems perfect, nice blend of new and old, sleek and tough.
-Touch points felt great and practical (handles, steps, hand rail at the rear of the cab, look of steering wheel)
- Design appears to have some flexibility built in. For instance the space under the rear seat was open but didn't have any storage solutions (yet).
-Colors really popped and felt like keepers, the green was a perfect blend of metallic, muted but not dull. Heard lots of people comment on the colors favorably. They don't seem like they are colors you see currently out in the wild but they are challenging or weird.
-Overall scale of both Vehicles seemed perfect, not too big, not too compact. Felt bigger than a Rivian r1t to me, in person.
Sadly, but expected at this point- the Staff was very tight on any new details, updated timelines, battery size, etc
Yes. Our Maverick Hybrid has the 12 volt battery taking up some of the rear under seat storage. The ICE version it is under the hood. That’s where the Grenadier has the batteries is under the back seat. Any reason for anything like that to be under the Scout back seat?
Thanks for sharing your feedback. Like hearing all the member thoughts and references to what they’ve overheardGot a chance to walk around, spend some time there with both vehicles, my focus was mostly on the Terra since that's my reservation.

Interesting. Hadn’t thought about thatYes. Our Maverick Hybrid has the 12 volt battery taking up some of the rear under seat storage. The ICE version it is under the hood.
The Terra has 28" longer wheelbase. Both are supposed to have same size battery. On Traveller maybe a module of the battery goes under the rear seats to compensate for the shorter wheelbase!!??That’s where the Grenadier has the batteries is under the back seat. Any reason for anything like that to be under the Scout back seat?
That makes sense. Steal every inch they can findThe Terra has 28" longer wheelbase. Both are supposed to have same size battery. On Traveller maybe a module of the battery goes under the rear seats to compensate for the shorter wheelbase!!??
That would be the best location if you needed to do that. But, I think Scout said the batteries would all be between the frame. The Terra has 28" longer wheelbase. Technically that is between the frame-just hoveringThat would be the best location if you needed to do that. But, I think Scout said the batteries would all be between the frame.
I can't seem to find it But, they showed a flat battery pack sandwiched between the frame rails.Technically that is between the frame-just hovering![]()
I’m thinking the 12v battery that an EV has.The Terra has 28" longer wheelbase. Both are supposed to have same size battery. On Traveller maybe a module of the battery goes under the rear seats to compensate for the shorter wheelbase!!??
