Scout Concepts in New York City September 18-19, 2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
NYC is a huge population, so I understand why the market can not be ignored. But I don't see NYC as the land of full sized SUV's and trucks either. But that is just me. In rural S. Texas - more than 1/2 the vehicles seem to be full sized SUV's and trucks.
It seems to me the reason the Traveler is going there is because SMs CEO is speaking nearby.

@CP1@scoutmotors did state that the concepts will be going to Texas soon and then heading out to the LA Auto Show. I haven’t seen where they have announced exactly where and when in Texas yet.

We all want them to come to a venue near us, no matter where we live.

Will y’all be coming to Texas anytime soon?

Really need a date and location so I can put in for vacation now.

Lots of projects are stacking up at work and I would hate to miss an opportunity to irritate y’all in person and see the new Scouts with my own eyes.

I will be in Texas the week of September 29th. If its WORTH your time, I would take a vacation day Oct 2nd. I would buy STOCK in us being in Texas on the 2nd. Both Terra and Traveler.

Hi All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Scout Traveler will be on display at the corner of Fulton and Greenwich in front of the Perelman Performing Arts Center in New York City on September 18-19th. Our CEO Scott Keogh is speaking at the Atlantic Fest nearby and both of our concept vehicles will be on display.
As bad as I'd like to make it out there for my 30th, flights are pretty pricy unfortunately. Any chance you guys will be out in the Denver area again showing these off in the next few months??! 👀 🤣

I know I want to go to NYC too, but same and technically I have already seen them. There was a post the other day. Looks like after NYC it’s Texas. That’s closer to Denver. If you go to that thread the Texas people seem to have an idea of where they will be.

Or go to LA in November and see it at that auto show. Lots to do in California.

I totally get it. I saw them and now that the colors are changing I’m ready to see them again already. 😹
