I am looking way ahead, but when we are able to configure our Scout it would be really nice if it included the dimensions based on how we configure it. I love the roof rack and the 35” tires on the Traveler but want to make sure it can fit in my garage.
Yes we have the lenght, but is that height with the 35s that were shown at the reveal? It's my understading that there will be different tire options and now the roof rack. Depending on how it's optioned that will change height dimentions and it would be nice if it showed dimensions when you configure your Scout. We have the length already.
The dimensions on their site show the length of traveler without spare tire carrier. It hasn't been updated to show the roof rack height though.

Knowing standard garage doors are 7’ high I suspect-though I dont know-the 33’s and probably roof rack would be designed to handle getting und a 7’ high door-otherwise a lot of sales would be lost. I’m thinking 35’s may squeak under but would be nice to hear from Jamie or SM team on this. It’s a valid point. I’m fortunate to have 8’ high doors so hoping I’ll have no issues with 35’s and rackYes we have the lenght, but is that height with the 35s that were shown at the reveal? I would like when we are configuring our Scouts prior to order the dimensions show exactly with the options we have selected. Like if you select air suspension the height is from ____ min to ____ max. I would like a lot of detail when I’m ordering. It would be cool if they included the max vehicle height as configured on the driver door data plate with your VIN, GVWR, tow rating, etc.
It could certainly be both.I would like when we are configuring our Scouts prior to order the dimensions show exactly with the options we have selected. Like if you select air suspension the height is from ____ min to ____ max. I would like a lot of detail when I’m ordering.
I doubt many will know what to do with a CAD file. But definity a ""blueprint” style printout along with a graphic rendering of their specific vehicle, with VIN, when they take delivery" would be great.I mean, in this day and age, it just makes sense to provide a CAD file with all of the dimensions based on the configuration as-built.
Maybe Scout will provide reservation holders with a multi-page printout. It would be cool go get “blueprint” style printout along with a graphic rendering of their specific vehicle, with VIN, when they take delivery. And also that could get copied into the system where the manual is stored so you can put it on-screen when you want.
I sure was showing my age there too. Maybe something more modern like an STL so people can 3D print their truck.I doubt many will know what to do with a CAD file. Now that would be a great idea. Of course a smaller scale, right?I sure was showing my age there too. Maybe something more modern like an STL so people can 3D print their truck.
I mean, if you have access to a 5400 mm print bed, why not take advantage?!Now that would be a great idea. Of course a smaller scale, right?![]()
The Ineos Grenadier and Quartermaster have a convenient dimension reference diagram next to its off-road controls. Something similar could be cool.It would be cool if they included the max vehicle height as configured on the driver door data plate with your VIN, GVWR, tow rating, etc.

Print them to 1/2 scale and put a small Honda or B&S mower engine in them and let your kids cruise around in themI mean, if you have access to a 5400 mm print bed, why not take advantage?!
Just get yourself an LSAM or a BAAM and go to town! There might be a few for sale currently.I mean, if you have access to a 5400 mm print bed, why not take advantage?!
Put a EGO mower motor in it. Needs to stick with the electric theme J.Print them to 1/2 scale and put a small Honda or B&S mower engine in them and let your kids cruise around in them![]()
I mean, if I was printing them they’d be all-electric, of course.Print them to 1/2 scale and put a small Honda or B&S mower engine in them and let your kids cruise around in them![]()
