Post-Reveal Scout Terra & Traveler on Tour?

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Denver or somewhere out here, a lot of people would be interested. Steamboat has a large EV population, Rivian and Tesla. The city actually holds an electric vehicle test ride for interested parties in the spring. Maybe a Scout on display?

Any update in providing a calendar of upcoming events where we could see the new Scout prototypes?!?

I live in Austin, TX and have put down the 100.00 reservation deposit.

I'm eager to view the car in person!

Welcome to the forum. Lots to see and learn so enjoy your time here if so inclined. If you don’t see it listed on this thread then it likely hasn’t been listed. Jamie is great providing updates but Jamie has mentioned with all the things happening between photo shoots and critical events along with back to shop time for touch-ups, etc… it is a moving target so to speak so just keep an eye out here. Seems the shows they are going to are either connected to vintage Scouts, outdoor events with Scout demographic OR very large car shows like LA.

Last time I was at an EV expo, getting up close to a prototype made me appreciate the design and tech so much more. Plus, chatting with the team gave real insights you just don’t get online. It’s smart to hit events like Electrify Expo, especially in Austin, since that city’s vibe really matches the electric scene. Oh, and when I booked my flights last year through a spot like travelbusinessclass.com, the whole trip felt smoother, which made the event experience way more enjoyable!

Im sure they would be a hit in Dallas or Austin even if they aren’t at an expo.

I’m in ETX myself and look forward to seeing them in person.

@Jamie@ScoutMotors and @CP1@scoutmotors have hinted about attending a Texas event this year but no set date or location have been provided yet.

It would be pretty hilarious to just leave one parked outside a Rivian showroom in Austin and see how many people stop and look at it.

Rather devious. I like the approach.
