From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.
Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.
How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Silver silver, just like the stripes. I think it would look fantastic on this body.
Me too but hopefully someone will do a render with straight silver or one with reversed colors (silver body grey stripes)
I still want a bright car - I love vibrant colors. So many cars are muddy or dark colors now. Gotta have the stripes - red with white, blue with white, green with yellow, red with black, yellow with black - something that isn't a typical color scheme now would be wonderful!
Of course this is coming from someone who has had several different pairs of shoes where the left and right didn't match (years apart - I didn't just swap them) so take that as you will

Same. I have been driving a black Jeep for 12 years. I am ready for a color. Yellow is my first choice, blue second. Has to have Rallye stripes. Just has to. My husband would kill me. My last BMW was that red metallic that looks purple. Let’s just say he was not a fan. Ha!
Yes, I think it was only available for a few years in the early-mid 70s. That car is a 74, the last year AMC made them. I'll have to double check and make sure they didn't offer it on the early body style Javelins or AMXs in the late 60s.
Welcome and that’s intriguing. I hadn’t considered that color. There were two colors I really like in the Grenadier. The white and the mushroom. That would combine them. I have been all in on yellow or blue but that could be a possibility. I can’t wait until we get our color choices. Decisions decisions.
I could get behind a mushroom tone body with white top. But a rich solid color-no metallic
I missed voting till today but you can imagine my dismay when I saw "bright yellow" with so few votes haha... Rallye Gold - only way to go!

It was just a poll to see what people like. Those colors aren’t even guaranteed at this point but more a fun activity and I’m sure something for the colors team to gain insight from
