The Terra does college football

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Hopefully there will be many additional tour stops across the county! Nice to visit The University of South Carolina, just a short drive south of the production site.

Behind the rope, and then on the jumbotron.

So like those of us at the reveal you got to see them in person. Willing to share your thoughts on what you think/feel about them now seeing them in person versus seeing them online?

Sadly I still have not laid eyes on it myself, in the physical. Those pics were shared with me by my brother and nephew. They focused on the Terra, since I had been excitedly telling them about it since I reserved one. They both thought it looked awesome, and are looking forward to checking mine out, once I have it in my grubby little paws. My understanding is that it was drawing decent crowds, with plenty of interest.

I will try to pop in to the Connection Center office this week, in the hopes of the prototypes being on display there, since they were already so close to it yesterday.

Oh, right on!

The Terra really does look awesome — congrats on the reserve. I sent the Scout reveal video to my brother who is a contractor (currently building my house :)) and he's got one in his sights now. I think the Traveler is going to be the right ride for these grubby paws as soon as I get through new house bills, haha, but if I had more use for a truck, I wouldn't hesitate on the Terra!

And lovin' the plan to pop in and get some shots of those prototypes! I'll be keepin' a lookout.

The concepts won't be on display in the Connection Center as they need to be transported back for a little bit of TLC and punch list items remaining to be worked on. I'm sure they will be back in South Carolina before long.

That’s awesome to see they were out for public viewing! Thanks for sharing. Would love to hear more about how they are being received if anyone has additional information. I can’t wait to see them in-person one day!!!
