South Dakota IH scout and truck club events 2025-2026
Here is a list of upcoming events the South Dakota IH scout and truck club have planned for 2025-2026.

1. 9th annual East River chapter gathering
This is the flag ship gathering of the SD IH scout and truck club. This event continues to grow with each passing year. You will see many scouts and trucks from all different periods. Parts, collectibles, literature, toys, signs and much more will be on display as well. Our events are free admission and open to the public. You do not need to be from South Dakota or be a part of our club to come join in on the fun!
July 12th, 2025, Rutland, SD
2. 2nd annual West River chapter cruise and meet up.
Started in 2024 the west river chapter cruise and meet is an event we have a lot of ambition for. The cruise goes through the beautiful black hills, seeing key attractions such as mountain Rushmore, crazy horse monument and finally ending up in the town of Custer South Dakota. The meet up is followed up after the cruise.

3. Red Power round up 2026
2026 is a big year for the United States as it is having its 250th anniversary. With that being said, South Dakota has landed the date for red power round up in 2026 and we are trying to make it a special event! The scout and truck side of the round up will be run by the South Dakota IH scout and truck club. With that we will be holding both our East River and west river events at red power to show support for red power coming to town! If you have not heard of red power round up it is the national collectors club for anything international harvester, from tractors, construction equipment, refrigerators, guns, tools and many more things IH had made over the years! Red power round up brings collectors of everything IH together to celebrate and share the history!
If you have any questions about the round up, please reach out to me. We are pushing hard for a very large turn out on the scout and truck side in 2026.
