Scout Traveler Debuts in New Pacific Mist Color

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

As promised, here is the first new color, Pacific Mist, on the Traveler and the first part of the retheme. A few of the details include new Pacific Mist paint in a shade of blue. The original reveal wheels are now black, matching well with the new black roof and black door handles. Also new are concept multi-function roof rails, giving a hint at future roof-mounted accessories.

The design team decided to push the envelope with an interior finished in a Terracotta leather and "denim-inspired" fabric. In person, it looks good with this exterior color. I'll snap some more pictures here in New York and post them later.

Thank you, and looks good :).
  • Pacific Mist looks better on the larger scale photos than the teasers. Definitely looks more blue than it did before to my eyes.
  • I hear you say it has a black roof, but, TBH, it took me until I read that to notice it (probably the lighting).
  • The black door handles, and roof rails actually work pretty well for me.
  • Is that terracotta leather the same as in the Terra? If so, the lighting makes them look wildly different. Way more than I'd have guessed.
  • The denim inspired fabric on the seats, headliner, and insets in the dash look like they could be interesting.

This retheme hits closer to what works for me personally. Not sure if this exact combo is what I'd get, but way closer than the Silo color and the Terra accessory setup for my tastes.

Love that we're getting more and more glimpses of what is to come :).

All the right moves! That..........Vehicle..........is.........GORGEOUS.

Thanks so much to you Jamie and team!! She’s beautiful. You all put in the work and it shows.

I agree the color looks much better in this lighting and in the full pictures than the teaser.

I can’t believe I’m saying this because I was so/so at first, but I would really like to see this color with the aero wheels that are on the Terra.

Love the roof rails. I’m definitely team roof rails.

The bumper is all black now and I’m not sure. I thought I would like it more but I think I’m liking the contrast of the original Traveler bumper better.

As for interior. I love that denim, so different, but I really want to see it in daylight to see how dark it feels inside. It would be fun to see the clay color from the original Traveler with the denim.

The more you guys put out there the more excited I am. You are thinking outside the box and I love where this is going.

I hope everyone who is going has a great time in New York. Start your own threads and post lots and lots of pictures!!! Can’t wait.

Your engineers better be as good at delivering promises as your design team! :)
