Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Shoot I didn’t measure the Terra at Nats. I did measure the Traveler and then the Traveler with the rack and yes I got 4 inches added for the rack.

Are Those 33 inche tires? Not the 35 inch tires? That height will fit in my garage with 5 inches to spare. Hopefully I don't have to 'air down' the tires just to fit in my garage!

The Traveler at Nats is on a 20 inch wheel with a 35 inch tire and I asked if it was lifted. They said no but it’s an offroad setup, whatever that means. Let me know if that doesn’t answer your question.

I was actually measuring my garage opening because I was worried about 33 or 35 inch tires and the Rack, which I'd like to have, not fitting height wise into the garage.

I have 82 inches of height because of a rubber like gasket/moulding sealing the garage door when its closed.

Otherwise, I really have 83 inches.

The next problem is I barely have 229 inches all the way back to the rear wall, which right now has 3 shelves. The bottom shelf will have to go. Still not sure the 'braces' or supports that are part of the inside of the garage door will clear the Terra when parked inside. The Traveler should fit, as long as I don't park it with the tire holder on the back.

I’m not planning on doing the rack. I’m hoping someone measures with the rails in LA. I’m probably going to remove a lower cabinet too just to give a little more room but I was able to get a loaner Crysler Pacifica parked in my garage so the traveler will fit.

My drool factor is so bad, I’ve started subconsciously referring to my existing Highlander as the Scout.

OMG I feel so much better hearing this - knowing I'm not the only one. Wife has an etron and its SUCH a pleasure to drive, every time I get in my Tundra all I can think of is how much I want the Terra with its EV drive train. I may or may not dream I'm in the Terra's interior from time to time. :)
