Scout Concepts At LA Auto Show, November 21-30, 2025

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Just down the street from me
Please take some, lots, many, oodles, countless memory cards worth of pictures. We don’t want @cyure yelling at you. Please take at least 426 photos-using your weak hand then switch to your arm wrestling hand and shoot capture at least 500 more , covering all possible angles (worm’s to bird’s eye) and be sure to spend at least 4.5-6 hours there so that sun can have a chance to move and create new highlights (I spent over 3 hours in NYC and I felt like a failure). Duplicate all the same photos but in the fresh light when you arrive and then in the adjusted sunlight before you depart. Taking a meal break between is completely acceptable. Think of it as a BEV charge stop-which it may be for your phone amateur commercial camera to recharge from all the shutter bursts. I’d recommend inviting a friend to operate the boom and maybe a loved one to hold the diffused light umbrella. If you have a child under the age of 12-(don’t want to be forced by child labor laws to pay them)-bring them and some lint free buff towels to keep it clean and sparkly and give @CP1@scoutmotors a well deserved break. Your amateur camera should have the 3-photo shutter burst option to maximize the chances for the absolute best photos. You can drop box (or your preferred website for large file sharing) all photos to @cyure and she will catalog them all and sort them in order of best to worst-both in color/lighting exposure but also for artistic image content. It’s a lot of work but she will do it with a smile and you will have more time to then share your photos with us and accept all the accolades 😀
PS-Sun screen and a hat-reapply at least 4 times-you’ll be there awhile. I would also recommend a double bottle helmet with tube or a camel pack so you stay hydrated. A dead dehydrated camera person is no good to the forum members and DAMMIT - We deserve this.
PSS-I heard from multiple credible sources that @CP1@scoutmotors is a big Snickers fan so bring some treats to bribe thank him for all he does for this group-because DAMMIT - We deserve this.
Big huge HUGE bonus if you dress up like Scuba Steve and get some Steve and Scouts selfies
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
And I think @THil08 will lose his $hit mind if you get scout, Scuba Steve, and uncle Scotty or Benj selfies

Enjoy it and please share your experience. Anxious for your honest feedback and clamoring over how great they are.

Wow you put a lot of thought into that post. 😹

In all seriousness, don’t be afraid to start you own thread to drop your pictures in. And if anyone goes into the auto show feel free to drop some
Pictures from the show itself as well. Give us some flavor of the event.

Also, if anyone is thinking that’s kind of a long drive. I’m not sure if it’s worth it. It’s worth it. It was a 6 hour drive (including stops) each way for my husband and I get to Nats. Totally worth it. Now I’m from So Cal and I understand the traffic will be a factor that we just don’t have here driving from Illinois to Ohio, but it’s still so worth it to go.

The show starts in a week! So excited for you all who get to see them!

Same here. All kidding aside from my long post- Nearly 4 hours to NYC and ended up in NJ the night before to gain more time for tourism and seeing family but for me, I’d say if you can do it from 7am to 9pm in a day between show and travel-it is definitely worth it and f you really love what you see here.

Oh YEAH! The Benj and Uncle Scotty! Also just released all my nicknames on the forum. Hoping to expand when we learn more executives names.

When we went to Nats my husband took 600 pictures of the Scouts and the event. Just saying. 😹

I really want to see the new wheels up close on the Traveler and the roof rails.

Also a view like this if possible. I want to see it without the crossbars from the rack.

Thanks!

This was posted on SM's LinkedIn page. Dunno if you've seen this one. Has a similar vibe as what you're wanting?
