Scout Adventure Center

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

To whom it may concern,
I just wanted to throw out a hopeful aspect of owning a new Scout... It would be amazing if one of the purchase options was Factory Delivery (to really learn about the truck) along with an Off-Road Adventure Center, akin to the Land Rover Experiences at places like Biltmore (to really see what the trucks are capable of in a semi-controlled environment). I think it would offer such a unique purchase experience cherished by all who participated...creating stronger advocates of the brand and a deeper love and understanding of our new Scouts!
Something to consider...

Thanks,
Everett Schram

PS...I can hardly wait for my Traveler Harvester to be speced and arrive!

Same but I’m Traveler BEV. There’s been talk of factory deliveries and I can’t imagine they won’t have an experience center on that property. It’s huge! I can’t wait to drive my Traveler home from the factory!!

I’m pretty sure someone at Scout has said there will be a delivery experience and off-road learning course but it’s been discussed so much I don’t remember for sure if it was SM or just members saying it.
I’d go one step further and suggest they build 8-10 semi permanent yurts or mini A-frame stay and sleep rooms so it can be a two-day experience and you sleep on site in a glamping situation then have a campfire breakfast, your new vehicle walk around, then drive and learn for the day with SM experts and then wrap up the day with vehicle delivery and set-up. Could be a Thursday/Friday event leaving you Sat/Sun. To drive home or extend your adventure a bit by hitting Charleston or surrounding city/state visits on your travels. That would be a cool experience. But a central campfire to get to know your group and that converted Scout beer dispensing tap unit 😀

Oh I want to stay in a yurt and wake up to my Scout parked in the woods!

Like Christmas morning🤣. As quiet as they are it wouldn’t take much-that would be a cool way to start the day-but keep them locked just to make you want it that much more later in the day. Thursday afternoon could be a plant tour for people getting there say by 1-2pm so the tour would be while plant was in full operation

Oh it’s going to be worse than Christmas morning. I haven’t had to wait years for Christmas. Oh they could take us on a tour and then to the accessories store to pick out things like flashlights and first aid kits. Things you want but don’t want to finance. Honestly, when you build a 4Runner they have a whole section of stuff like than. Camp chairs, etc. I don’t want to pay finances charges on a camping chair for goodness sake.

Then feed us and then we get a class on how things work in our Scouts. Like the taking care of a baby class they have you take at the hospital before you leave. Then they take your picture with your new Scout and then a group picture of everyone who picked up that day and they send you on your way.

Factory delivery would be great, but I'm not sure it's possible until South Carolina changes their franchise laws.
If you live in SC and try to purchase it in SC I don’t think you can. My understanding is the paperwork is done in a state where DTC is allowed (yay living in Illinois) and then you can pick it up at the factory as all the paperwork has been handled in a state that allows it.

That is my understanding as well. SC’s won’t be able to buy in state then pick up, they’ll have to work with closest, DTC state then pick up at center. I don’t see it as an issue at all. You do the legal sale in the permitted state. You are just picking up at the door rather than shipping it.

Any delivery experience will be great. Loved the BMW experience on the track and their little off road course (to try and sell you a SUV) but a legit course at SM will (positive thinking’) be an amazing experience

Of course, if you are camping with your Scout as power - a nice bank of high amp 800v superchargers would be nice to top off before the trip home (maybe while you are having your morning breakfast and coffee).

This (the not-too-yucky camp experience) sounds like an amazing experience! Something that falls between camping for people who aren’t afraid of bugs and going to a glammed-up summer camp (indoor plumbing, heat, electricity, just enough technology to be helpful but not so much that you miss the point of being in a camp experience) for adults who are just a little bit spoiled by convenience would be my jam.

Scout Drive-In theatre also suggested for this experiential retail-ish thing.

That would be cool. Project on a white outside wall for the community. If you own a scout you watch for free. Creative meet up idea-I love your thinking @Scoutsie
