Future Opportunities

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I know this forum is kinda like one big focus group but will there be opportunities for members to participate in focus groups. Either in person or via Zoom. I was invited years ago to participate in a focus group for BMW.

If in 1.5-2 years there are openings for Mechanical Engineer positions after I graduate, I will apply immediately if presented the opportunity. I would really like to work for Scout. Also, before 2 years if there are ever any Mechanical Engineering internships, I would love to apply to those currently. It is a dream of mine to work in the automotive field in Engineering and it's something I am passionate about. Though, in the meantime I will keep working hard to finish my degree and stay on track. They definitely do internships because they did a story about it like a year or so ago. Check out the stories page and I’m sure you can find it. May have been info on who to contact for internships too

Yep. We are growing all the time. You can find our job opportunities here:

Thanks, Jamie! I keep checking back to see what other positions open up. I'm a regional creative director and absolutely love everything Scout Motors is doing. Any possibilities for creatives? Maybe even brand ambassadors? Helping to develop a Scout Motors experience center sounds incredible too!

I check the employment section at Scout about once a week. I keep thinking my background in sales and management may be applicable some day. Just hoping living in Montana won’t be an issue. Scout seems to be in the right track, and it would be cool to be a part of it!

There are some great internships. The growth internship would be perfect for my daughter and her major/understanding of design but moving to CA at $23/ hour just doesn’t work.
It doesn't really for me that much also, I just can put some money aside to rent a place for the 3 months for the internship since it is more for me to try to get my foot in the door and add to my resume then an actual money-making position since it is only for the summer anyway. Though, I have friends in classes that had to go to Michigan for their internships for the summer so it is kind of normal for Engineering, but out of the ones I applied so far, I would like the one in South Carolina just because it would be closer to move for the summer but if one in Michigan is offered, I will definitely be heading to that. It is really if I get offered anything since I would like the opportunity. Though I am just trying, since I can't decide if I want to intern at a place if I never tried for it, so I have to at least try and see if I get any interest.
