We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Is the paint cured enough to be outside in those elements? You 2 are really brave to adventure all the way to Chicago in that weather. Make sure you bring said charged batteries . . .Hello peeps I’m starting this thread in anticipation of tomorrow! Im thinking positively that the weather will hold. The Traveler will be in front of the Marriott. I’m so excited to see Pacific Mist up close and in person. My husband has his camera batteries charged up and we both were able to take the day off work.

Chicago. The weather can be very different up there because they get the lake effect and we don’t get that here in Central Illinois. We are forecast to have a tiny bit of rain at about 1 in the morning and a high of 40.

The seats are adjustable so wouldn’t they be able to do both?
And speaking of adjusting in addition to back and forth and up and down it would be nice if they tilted like BMW seats do. Also lumbar support that goes up and down and inflates. Please and thank you.
Its more about the height they have the seats mounted at. Like modern trucks and SUVs seats are mounted similar to how a sedan is, low to the floor board. Older trucks and suvs they had the floor board raised up by 3 or so inches and it made it perfect so that you can see pretty much to the end of the hood. In newer trucks you can't see the front of the hood you see the front half of it, and it leaves you blind.
BMW bottom tilt is a ridiculous feature thats probably the best thing ever. It gives the best thigh support. The X3 i was testing had it.
Meh-maybe they’ll create something unique for extra storage in the bed of the Terra
Having sat in it in NYC you can pretty much see over end but there is a bit of the curve/swoop at very front that is deceiving and not knowing how far bumper will project in front is will be fair reasonable to understand the front vertical plane. That said if it has Birds Eye camera during parking and beep sensors seeing over very front won’t be quite as critical
I love this wheel but I wonder if the wheels were machined and that use subtle lines were left and someone said -“it looks like a vinyl record” and it stuck. Design tends to work that way-some cool mistakes or unintended result happens and designers spin it with a story

That was my first thought as well. Amish don’t use electricity on their farms so not much I can offer
The tool box looks good interesting, and if it mounts on the rails in the bed I might actually be willing to buy one in the end, but I’ve come to prefer a good bed over that seals and locks stuff in the bed, but the swing out from the traveler could look good on the Terra and useful for “overlanding”
I question forcing a detail unless it works perfectly and as a BEV and the original I think simpler is better. You could always get a vinyl decal made to stick on to look like gas cover. One thing I liked on Bronco was the front letters and flexibility with them. We debated changing ours while we had it from BRONCO to ARCHER and back to my bow pics she was going to do the letters in a color to match her bow.
So maybe the scout script signature could have color select LED to make the signature whatever color accent an owner wants.
Not BEV specific, but it would be a cool Easter egg to have the original scout somewhere within the vehicle as a side or front profile at line and etched into something
Good morning peeps. Here’s a shot that shows the handle on the tire carrier/back pack carrier. Also the back pack has handles on other side to carry it. My husband kept calling the back pack “the cooler”.

I proposed this a long time ago and I cannot find the thread. IH had a concept tractor called "Electrall" and it had a really cool logo. Maybe Case IH would allow Scout to use it.
