Audio Components

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
I assume the audio will be high end may I suggest something like Alpine speakers they have great sound quality and clarity..
Welcome to the forum @Jwaite1964. Liking your thoughts and suggestions so far. If you use the search button (top right corner)on topics you’ll see a lot of subjects exist so your great thoughts can be added to existing threads so other members see your insight and can reference it easier down the road. It also reduces SM moderator’s efforts in combining threads which they check periodically. Just a helpful suggestion as we’ve found it more user friendly over the past two years and helps SM work load.
Thanks and again-welcome to the forum and check out the color poll

I’d like to see higher end than Alpine, at least optionally. I’m thinking Levinson, B&O or Meridian.

I would not assume anything in terms of the audio system. Most vehicles even into the 100k class, have sub par audio systems . The name of the system does not really matter as MacIntosh found in Jeep or B&O found in BMW etc all have systems that are cheaply made for the auto market . It would be nice if one of these major providers of audio for cars/suvs, could just pay for the proper circuitry /speakers (and you do not need 17 speakers). with separate amplifier upgrade/ speaker upgrade without it breaking the bank. I feel if you are spending 60k plus for a vehicle, then a sound system with proper circuitry and other components should be included. if you want exceptional sound then the more your vehicle costs , the sound system should automatically be upgraded as well. If anything have an audio phile upgrade , that has been tested by the pros for the interior space of vehicle and its acoustics for 3K more or something to that affect. Just my thoughts.

Thank you for the links. Very new here. I want to be able to plug in my collection of flac files from my usb, like am able to do in my old Tesla. Newer Tesla's and Rivians do not allow that. Just want this to be visible to the Scout engineers.
