2025 NYC photo-measurement requests

  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.
Your interior shots look lighter but in a great way. With sun in the morning I couldn’t get good interior ceiling pics so that is great. Leather in your shots looks a hair lighter than actual but still great shots. Thanks for posting these N.

Nice detail on the KO 3 tire how appropriate

And a few more NYC pics. One of these may or may not have been just after the influencer basically closed the hatch on himself after pushing the keyfob (accidentally I presume)

Jamie also noted again the rear panel that runs across the back-when there isn’t a tire carrier-will get a filler panel but it will all stay plastic-won’t be body colored-can’t remember if I already said that

Have we been able to confirm what the plate configuration will be on the Traveler both with and without tire carrier?

It was noted somewhere on the forum just in the past week of being up centered in the open space on drivers side of spare carrier. I heard in NYC it would be a higher mount, not bumper mount but it was not clarified exactly where it will be. Maybe on the carrier itself or when no carrier centered in the black plastic panel? Might be cool on the left of the tire carrier???

Shoutout to you for getting luggage in there for a sense of scale!
Ironically that was the influencer just tossing it in and dragging it out. I thought the SM team was gonna tackle and taser him. And just like his camera case I would have gotten pics of that as well. My nearly 21 year old daughter tells me that’s a $1500 designer luggage “case” that they had their camera gear in. But it was good for scale. Just slightly larger than a small hard side carry on. Here’s a few more pics of luggage items. I was glad the influencer had those for scale

Before I start opining on influencers, this really was just some random, right?

Random influencer? No-he’s got OODLES of followers and focuses on fashion and travel (if I’m recalling correctly). Think of the Scouts like fashion accessories to your daily life. A travel bag is meant to be tossed around and travel about the country and can still look good (his silver case) so isn’t that what the Scout will do as well? Fashionable, rugged, moving from place to place while looking good!

Fine with me - just want easy access to split tailgate. They could put particleboard there and I'd be fine with it.
