  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Yes optional. I wouldn’t want them but understand if others do.

Poll: Would you use a Scout configurator tool if pricing and details are not finalized yet?

I completely agree. Have options. An all light. An all dark. And then the two that they have currently. Then have a plaid panel option that can be put into any of the four options.

    Blindspot Mirrors in Sideview Mirrors!

I have a question. My car does not have blind spot monitoring, it’s too old. But my husbands car and my sons cars have it. So there’s a little light in the mirror that lights up if someone is next to you. And if you signal to merge the cars beep at you to say hey don’t do that. I’m just...

    CYURE GOES TO NATIONALS!!! Yay!!!

Traveler tire carrier. I’ll say it again. I love the tire carrier and really hope the logo lights up like it does on the concept.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I just old school it. Hit the alarm button over and over and listen for the beeping.

    Long Way...

I just sat down to watch tv and realized I’m done with all the Long Way shows. Boo! They were all really good. If anyone hasn’t seen them they are worth the time. There’s Long Way Round. Long Way Down. Long Way Up and Long Way Home. The last two series have Rivians as their support...

    Tax credit removal

It would take a lot more than $10 or $15 for me. Double I might think about it. But if she’s a special launch color or something then nope double isn’t even enough. She’s mine.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

My Wrangler it’s just one. Was a USB stick and we got partway through the install and it wanted a code! And it wasn’t something you could say oh never mind. If you didn’t have the code it was basically going to brick my stereo and nav. We finally figured out how to find it and I never...

What feature(s) do you hope that Scout does NOT include?

Also if there’s a way for the car to say hey change a blinker bulb before it goes out that would be ideal. It’s horrifying trying to turn when your blinker is fast blinking saying replace the bulb.

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

Oh I have a feeling that would look amazing.

I’m just so glad I don’t have to deal with any of that with my Scout. Thank goodness.
