  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

I continue to laugh at the fact that VW dealers think they will get these. It’s comical.

    More Pondering

In the north we call those buggies 🤣. And Amish still driving them🤣

In fact you can. Ironically I just ordered a matching set on Saturday. They told me nobody cares about brands anymore-it’s the commissions that matter so why should I drive 58 miles to my nearest Lambo dealer when the VE folks 5 minutes from my office can screw me with less knowledge and service!

    Hey Lady Scouts!!

    LMAO. Thanks!

Switching Harvester to All EV Model?

I don’t take it that way. My in-laws live in Circle so I get its rural in Montana and upper midwestern states. I think in your use scenario it makes complete sense. I think those who live in heavily populated areas with plenty of charging and still refuse considering EV is a bit of a different...

    Flat or satin white

I still love the prototype modern Tahitian. Was walking with wife tonight and said I truly love it but I think everyone is gonna pick it and I like to be a bit unique. I don’t have to stand out, but I also don’t want to blend in. But it is a beautiful color

I would say so. But good lord. I think seeing it in legit colors actually make it look worse than in the full body wrap. Proportions look like a first year design school solution

    2025 Barret Jackson LOT #753

Very nice. Welcome to the forum BTW!

    Flat or satin white

Someone else mentioned it once but Porsche has Chalk as their pale tone (and a white to be fair). Kinda white with a touch of gray. One of my favorite colors

    Flat or satin white

Im still onboard for a vanilla tone or pale mushroom rather than white. Something very pale but something different than any other manufacturer. Just my 2 cents

    Delivery date

Fingers crossed. Hoping deliveries run smoothly as well right out of the gate. And if there are limitations be very transparent right up front with expected quantities and/or potential delays. Much easier to stomach if you know before you order

Solar-Ready package (especially for the Traveler)

Well written and well requested. I no longer camp or off road but this is the perfect approach to the needs of you who do. Can I add a caveat and ask that SM consider designing this option as an OEM after market item as well. Can the car be designed in a way to accept this “module” 3 years after...

March 2025 Scout Production Center Update

Sweet. That’s a great shot. Dumb luck or unique opportunity or happened to look out the plane window knowing you were roughly close and happened to see it? Very nice look. Maybe Jamie or crew will ask to use it for PR sake.

    33 Months of EV driving...

And knowing you probably paid $35-40 for that cookie and happy kids on the ride home that was a life saver to some degree and made the day and post event driving experience considerably better

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

That’s great info. Based on that conversation would it make sense for SM to consider adding a capacitor to do as you heard regarding the satellite? Knowing dendrites are one of the biggest harms to battery use-maybe it would be worth adding that as not everyone will want /need to fast charge...
