  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Is there anything SM could offer to get you to switch from EREV to BEV?

I have a standard range R1T that I added bigger tires to and cut my range down to 215 miles or so and I'd still rather stop as many times as necessary than take an ICE vehicle. Maybe its age, but I thoroughly enjoy road tripping an EV and getting out, walking around and just taking it a slower...

    New YT Scout Review Video

I know @THil08 mentioned it already but if you haven't watched it already, go watch it! She got some good updated information and video on the vehicles, level 2 plus only, Apple Carplay and AA confirmation, Rivian/VW designed software stack, some good harvester related questions, and one of my...

Concepts on Display at the Whitewater Center, Charlotte, NC October 10th

What a strong and fitting partnership for Scout. With partnerships like this SM is going to beat Rivian at their own game out "adventure" them lol! Additionally, I really enjoyed what Jamie said and the road map he gave is extremely exciting. We all know waiting is the hardest part, but to have...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

Same. My wife has never seen them either and I would love for her and my kids to see them as well. I also agree that this looks like it will be cool event to attend regardless and if any concepts are there it will be a huge bonus.

    After the deliveries

I would like to see like at the very least an annual meet up at the factory or training center. Maybe even do a Q&A sesh with the team or get some sneak peeks at what's coming next. I guess what I'm really trying to say is even after we get our Scout's I want to remain a part of Scout's growth...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

If SM did this by design I will not question a single thing going forward, (don't hold me that though lol) because if they did that's a level of forward thinking that makes me feel assured we are in the best hands possible with our Scout's.

Great scot you're right! I didn't even notice that button before. Thanks a lot J, now I got another item added to my wish list. I drove a Genesis GV70 that would allow separation of the heated seats to just my back and I loved it! Definitely a want for my Traveler.

Massage function. If anywhere I think that would be in the Mountainside concept but honestly I wouldn't mind having them in Trail ready either, ESPECIALLY after a long hike, bike ride, kayaking trip etc. Having a Rivian I've learned that you can have your cake and eat it too. I've quite liked...

Yeah I'm sure its too early to get any concrete details on something like that, and the concepts are just that, one off's.

Hey Cyure do you recall from SC when you sat in the Traveler if the door handle pulled outward or was it more like a passive entry handle that's fixed that sends a signal to the door latch to release? Tbh I like the design of the door handles but I would really like for them to be fixed and be...

    CYURE GOES TO NC!! 9/26/26

While I am 100% team cabana I do like how the glass roof goes beyond the rear seat position and really provides the back passengers with a open "roofless" experience. Whereas the front leading edge of the cabana roof is directly over the rear passengers head. But I agree with your cyure, I want...

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

Jaime don't forget to run them through mall parking lots and the dreaded car rider pick up line too. We want a FULLY capable vehicle after all. :ROFLMAO:

This has been my favorite interior so far. I love the two tone interior look, not necessarily these colors but a two tone interior is it for me. I also like the fabric on the doors and dash instead of the wood. I think the wood choices have been too busy for my liking and I currently have the...

Welcome to the community! I live in the blistering SE so I know what you mean. However, strangely enough I have never bought a white colored vehicle, but my Rivian R1T is black. I blame my Wife for that because I wanted Forrest Green but was overruled lol! Totally agree with you though, my Scout...

Northeast Florida could be a pretty interesting real-world test for the Traveler

Welcome to the community! I'm just north of you in GA and while I get the heat and humidity we sadly don't get the salty air and sand or beach. But you make a really good strong argument that your use case is ideal for the Scout product. Curious as to what you drive now and if you went full...
