  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

Charlotte Scout Harvester Festival, September 26th

I'm just getting back in the states and trying to catch up in this forum. I know I've missed a lot. I was unable to go to Columbia for the Fireflies event and I have a family event on this festival day. I'm just over 2 hours away and can't go! How awesome would it have been to drive my...

July 2026 Scout Motors Production Center Update

In my opinion I feel like SM getting directly involved with the county responsibilities could have resulted in them being partially culpable going forward. I would expect SM to remain silent on the issue. However, SM does have responsibility of environmental stewardship. It goes without saying...

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

OK, so I guess I am as local as you might get (about 2.5 hours North of Columbia) since nobody else has chimed in. My best guess with what I see in the forecast below and from what is typical is that there are chances for rain increasing chances after 1PM (late evening most likely). These...

July 2026 Scout Motors Production Center Update

I think this is old news. There were issues with wetlands impact and local rivers. However, Richland County was ultimately responsible for preparing and managing.

The Traveler had me at Tahitian Red. I like the other colors, but I got imprinted with the Tahitian Red.

It was at the last Blythewood event with the Terra and Traveler, so ALL senses. The white Traveler kinda tasted like white chocolate! :ROFLMAO:

You really should get off the interstate there and take a casual drive by. Obey any signage and don't cross any secure areas. The Training Center parking lot is a nice viewpoint if still open to the public. This is a photo of the Training Center from the road between the interstate and plant...

    Lexus RZ chronicals-by my wife

When my wife's Lexus NX-300 Sport (turbo-ICE) was new it wasn't driven much as she was afraid to park it at WalMart or Alde (protecting it from idiots and those that don 't care about others' property). After she totaled her Civic (everybody was OK) she had to drive her Lexus regularly and of...
