  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

That scout II is killer good. Beautiful color, love the black roof. The lift makes the silhouette look so good-almost looks shorter than usual due to the height. And as an owner of ostrich chukkas-I’m a huge fan of ostrich leather. Beautiful vehicle and if daughter and father are on the...

    Google Gemini AI Scout Images

Well-sorry it added wood-that sucks! But the yellow isn’t too terribly bad. I think it’s either a small Kia or Chevy that has a metallic yellow-bit darker and a bit more green I guess that when I see them I question how the Scouts would look-this isn’t too far off of that

The Garage (What did you work on today?)

That sir-is a LOt of blue locktite for Allen’s that size Allen head. You must use some serious torque to knock those loose

Road Trip: Harvester vs EV vs Gas Hog

Like the idea of an app like that. How much of that info has to be added manually to the app and how much is linked to your gas card or I could imagine it linked to Quicken where it pulls the data from the spread sheet headings. Just curious on that as I am not regimented enough to input that...

    FB find of the day

Yeah-I’ve had dark green and not on my current list but thought it was a beautiful shade of green and the sunlight hitting it just really looked good

Road Trip: Harvester vs EV vs Gas Hog

Now that we own an EV I’m amazed at how ‘smart’ they really are. I get occasionally they try to stop you sooner than needed but at least in doing so it prevents you from being in a bad spot. You can still choose to ignore it but that’s of your own doing

What do we think is going to happen on the 24th of October?

Should park a scout on the downhill ski jump ramp -covered in snow and drive it to the top 🤣

Happy 2 year anniversary of the Scout launch. 9 minutes in and nothing. It’s like the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Maybe it happens at the same time as the launch. I’m even wearing my ruby slippers and clicking my heels together. Any whooo-here’s hoping to a fantastic Saturday and maybe a blue...

To be fair-it’s not my day job. At the rate I’m going at work, I wish the work week could add 12 more hours, not effect my weekends and add 20% to my take home pay. I’m lucky I can keep up with this. Fortunately I just don’t sleep a ton

Do You Want Your Scout To Have A Hands-Free Driving System?

I don’t think it is really a this or that. But based on all of the feedback Scout has given, this concept was a car for drivers and a car for interaction so I think as tech is concerned it isn’t the priority for Scout that it is for other EV companies

What do we think is going to happen on the 24th of October?

It’s a fair point. I politely disagree but I traveled to see them and seeing them has continued to show change and info that lets me know things are happening. It’s a tough point in the journey to provide info when everything is being finalized and market shifts are likely driving their...
