  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I'm assuming the steering wheel size is to help see the instrument panel a bit better, provide better leg room when driving, and improved visibility over the steering wheel. My current vehicle has an extra setting that moves the steering wheel up/in for easy entry in/out of the driver's seat...

    Optional 2nd Row Captain Chairs

The only bad thing about the +22 MDX center seat is there are not any inside arm rests if the center seat is removed. I wouldn't complain one bit if the bench seat or center console was plug-n-play to swap out in under a minute if someone wanted to reconfigure as needed at home. Acura MDX is...

    Optional 2nd Row Captain Chairs

My 19 Acura MDX has 2nd row cpt chairs with a center console and a 3rd row for 2 small kids (max of 6 positions). I would go for the front/rear bench for the Scout SUV if the center seat back could fold down with cup holders, padded arm rests on the edges, and extra storage (maybe extra USB)...

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Hopefully, I will have a physical location and mobile tech options in ABQ, NM. Too far to travel to Phoenix, Denver, or Dallas if they don't have this option in my state at the time of estimated delivery in +2027. I'm anticipating the I.C.E. extended range engine will need servicing at least...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

My two current sport hybrid vehicles have them (19 Acura MDX and 18 Acura RLX). Really comes in handy with so many vehicles with LED headlights. A lot more trucks, SUVs, and CUVs now have LEDs headlights and really can be blinding since they are so much taller.

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I haven't seen memory front driver's seat that also adjusts side mirrors. That features comes in handy for the wife and I (I'm 6'3" and she is 4'11"). Other features that would be nice would be: - Homelink - Heads up display - Carplay - 2nd row seats in the Traveler SUV that can recline a tiny...

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Put my deposit down for the SUV extended range. Not in a big rush because my current vehicle is good for a few more years (Acura MDX Sport Hybrid with +90,000 miles). My only concern is service after the sale living in NM. I'm assuming the I.C.E. engine "could" be serviced at a VW...

    Welcome and Introductions!

Hello! I live in the southwest and put my deposit down for the SUV extended range. Not in a big rush and can wait +2027 because it will replace my Acura MDX Sport Hybrid with +90,000 miles. Don't need all the off road capabilities of the Scout. Just need for minor offroad for hiking, eMTB...
