  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

When I was in college in SC, I would be hard pressed to point to any large scale industry. Maybe the Wando ports or the Charleston Navy base, maybe timber companies. There was no BMW, Volvo, or Boeing. My brother-in-law was a professor in Aiken lamenting that there was no money coming in to...

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

It's been a long while since I've been in downtown Columbia, most of my visits were on the outskirts. I had to look up where the Segra stadium is located. I took my oldest on a college visit about 8 years ago to South Carolina and approached the campus from the north through the city and was...

    Gjeebs Scout Review

I just watched it and was also confused. He kept referring to the harvester and a 300+ range on the battery. My understanding is a much lower battery-only range (~150) on the harvester. Best thing about the video was turning off the audio and focusing on the visual pictures.

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

I'm heading to Charleston in later September. I could maybe convince my wife to take a longer way via Blytheville (If we don't fly). Is there anything at all to see? Is there a visitor portion of the training center?

    CYURE GOES TO SC!! 8/22/2026

There are like 40 breweries in Asheville, ONE of them at least will have a gluten free option!

Can I emphasize the "GOOD SIZED insulated drink container"?

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

I know "the google," Meta, .etc all listen to me.... They know I have an EREV order in (forgot to wear my tinfoil hat). But it seems like every Ad I see for a Scout is pushing the Harvester. I'm seriously considering switching to BEV but knowing I can switch my reservation I haven't been in a...

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

Oh yeah! Up until the time I bought my PFDR, I had never driven a stick (but I knew the concept). On my test drive, I had the dealer drive me around. The dealership was 2 hours away - I had my dad drive me there and follow me home. I think I stalled it 1 time on a hill-stop on the way back...

Poll- What have you Reserved... Let's get a small idea of the take rates.

I'd love to have a truck; but, I would want to treat it like a truck. I had a 2001 Ranger I would take to the bulk landscape material depot. The 7' bed was just large enough for a skid steer dump bucket to drop gravel/mulch/dirt in it. I can' t imagine every doing that to the Terra. And, if...

June 2026 Scout Production Center Update

From my understanding, there isn't much there (or wasn't). I'm sure that's gonna change. It's north of Columbia. I think the next largest area is Rock Hill.

June 2026 Scout Production Center Update

I don't know.... I've definitely had my share of pecan pie in SC. Supposedly tomato pie is a thing; but, I've never had it, nor have I ever said, "I could go for some tomato pie, right now!"

June 2026 Scout Production Center Update

Red Truck Bakery in Warrenton and Marshall, VA has this, but they call it a Kentucky Bourbon pie. RTB is Good! I've stopped there on a couple occasions heading to my kids' colleges. Can I post a link here w/o getting in trouble...

June 2026 Scout Production Center Update

My wife's family in RI do pork pies quite a bit. I definitely don't see that here in the mid-Atlantic. I completely forgot about mincemeat pies - I haven't had one of those in a long time.

June 2026 Scout Production Center Update

If it's authentic, it's gotta be Shoofly and maybe a sugar cream/custard pie. But the last time I stopped at a random Lancaster-area bakery stand on the side of the road, I got a Strawberry-Rhubarb.
