Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy.     Personally, the best part about a truck that goes 0-60 in 3 seconds with 4 motors is not the 0-60 band at all. It's the linear power band you get for passing or when moving. Sure, blasting off in launch mode is fun for show, but really just adds more wear and tear and gets old pretty quick...

    Hoses right out, never an issue, and have never had anything actually get stuck in there. I've half expected to find a bird in there once or twice but never have.

    Yes - I think that Scout already made a claim that the Terra would come with the roll-down. It's actually a big selling point to a lot of reservation holders too. I doubt they would produce the Terra with optional rear roll-down. That would not be good.

    I think the 37's look way to big and will be WAAY too inefficient. They appear to balloon-out and blow away all the space in the wheel-well (at least thats how they appear to me). I'm probably in the 33 A/T's camp too.

    That is a "pre-production" version of the bench seat - I don't think that is what we will be getting. I'm guessing there will be a lot more people looking for "fold-down / console version" in the center that we see in most pick-ups with bench seats today, which is more like a 60/40 split...

    Aftermarket ultra-light truck bed cap differentiator

    Primarily due to the separate movement that can be created between the cab and the cap. With NVH creating friction and wearing away paint at the gasket, you would wind up with a rust and paint issue.

    ... And, when you are able to integrate battery modules neatly between the 2 rails you transform that ladder into a "Skateboard" with a low center of gravity, a rigid structure and a clean-slate above it, you realize massive space savings:
