    Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

    How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

    Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

    This! I don't need an electro-chromatic roof.. The sliding shade that was on the concept is perfect as is.

    I'd think if one wanted a patina option they could just get some graphics made, or perhaps an available graphics option (vinyl, etc). That is a bit of a pipe dream to request a pantina option paint wise on a new vehicle. lol

    Living with EV

    For 90% of my driving I do about 700 miles a month so I think EV works for me. Maybe about 23 miles (not always) a day except for weekends where I may do about 40/50. I still opted for the Harvester for times I may go to Atlanta (350/400 miles round trip) or Indiana which is more like 500 one...

    Wouldn't be too hard to have a USBC port on the rear view mirror that would allow for aftermarket power. I would prefer that over it coming with its own.

    I think it is a HUGE ask to both want a radio delete all the while wanting on-demand cabin preconditioning. These may have better options than most but many of these 'asks' are that of a bestoke manufacturer.. No way they would be even close to posted pricing on many of these.

    What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

    What is the actual tire size of the 35's on the 20's? Did anyone get a picture of the actual size? I'm a sucker for OWL on the BFG's but pretty sure on the larger sizes you only get black sidewall.

    Color/Graphic Option

    It would be as simple as having an accessory graphics pack for the models that you could have installed (either there or at a shop of your choice)..

    I love the tire carrier but I keep thinking... How on earth will my bike rack fit with that on the back? I will need an extension for sure. :)

    I guess we all have different experiences as I have zero issues with view having them. Perhaps the Raptor is an exception.

    I have a 2016 4Runner and installed one on the drivers a-pillar and it doesn't impact view at all. I was really hoping to have one on the drivers side also!! I use mine without fail.

    Would you be more inclined to purchase if...

    I'd still purchase regardless. While I like the idea of a gas/diesel/manual variant I'm by no means plan to take my toys and go home because I didn't get that option.
