  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    We are Scout Motors.

This is my friends van he is bringing to graffiti. It’s a 49 Ford F3 Parcel. It’s super sick! This is my other friends 64 C10. Me and my other friends are trying to convince him to bring it to Grafiti! We will see if he does. Fingers crossed! 🤞🏻

10 days until the American Graffiti Festival, and I'm getting pretty excited! I'm just hoping Goldie doesn't decide to have some random mechanical surprise before then. I'll be driving her quite a bit over the next few days to shake out any remaining gremlins and make sure she's ready for the...

I don’t know either lol. But I had to try something. 😂 our phones have been ringing off the hook. All the CSRs have been crushing it. I saw Scout parts has a west Coast style for a Scout II but they stick out pretty far and you have to drill into the metal of the window wing.

They are wide angle but because of that they are more expensive. The one I pictured above are flat.

Okay, I need y’all’s opinion. The tripod style mirrors I bought for Goldie aren’t going to work. The alignment just isn’t right, and at this point I’d be putting too much time and effort into fixing a set of cheap mirrors lol. So now I have two options. Option #1: OEM Ford Style I had these on...

Yes it does. It’s very abrasive on paint. The only reason I did it was because the clearcoat was completely gone and the paint was really shot due to all the chemicals by the concrete plant. I would recommend with a nicer paint job a really good wash and then some sweet patina. Don’t go using...

After graffiti is finished, I’m going to install a 3.5–4 inch lift and start going through all the wiring and fixing the lights. I’ll also be using the Hotsy to thoroughly clean the engine bay and installing a cool new headliner. Goldie’s progress will definitely continue!
