  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

When you see it in natural light it brings out the color so strongly. In the direct sun you can see hints of gold but in the shade it shows more green. It's really cool. I showed my wife pictures from the LA auto show where it was outside but under covering. I told her the color is so unique...

I agree with you. That Silo green is such a cool color. It's definitely something you need to see in person as photos don't do it justice. I asked Jamie if it was going to be offered and all he could tell me is there has been a lot of good feedback. So hopefully it makes it to production.

What do you all do? Curious about Scout buyers occupations, or former occupations.

I retired in 2023 after the writers strike and the actors strike. Hollywood was hurting that whole year. I worked the camera for television shows mainly. I did some 2nd AD work as well. My last gig was "Better Call Saul". For full feature films I was in Post production working in Rotoscoping...

You got some good pics. Thanks for sharing. Sorry we didn't meet. I did meet a couple others. And yes........people kept touching the vehicles. Think people, think. Sigh. I'm finally back in Los Angeles. I'm super tired from the drive but it was worth it.

As @SpaceEVDriver stated, huge crowds around to get any good photos. I tried. Agent K was nice enough to open the tailgate on the Terra to give me a better view.

Yeah, crazy busy. Very difficult to get in for photos without having 100 people around.

    What was your first car?

It was a fun car. Looked faster than it was. Mine was blue. The previous owner painted it midnight blue. Fond memories. The first car is always a strong place in our hearts.

No. Not acting (Harrison Ford.:ROFLMAO:). I worked behind the scenes. Both production as well as post production. Nothing as glamorous as acting. You are correct..."Indy" is short for Indiana Jones I cannot wait until I get behind the wheel of my new Scout for my next Adventure!!! Happy Friday!
