  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I’ve been seeing a few more of them on the roads, all vibrant, banana, lime, and apple colored they’re beautiful to see on the road honestly, meanwhile the local dealer still has all the solid white ones on the lot

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

Not to mention VW dealers ruined a lot of interest with markups, very similar to what ford dealers did with the lightning. Then they mostly ordered solid colors, grey, black, white. Which people didn’t care for, to point VW was subsidizing some dealers to get them wrapped to be two tone

The video title also calls. Both vehicles Terra.. that’s enough to dissuade me from listening to their opinions. They have made interesting videos that I have enjoyed watching in the past, but especially with electric vehicles in the past couple years it feels like they really enjoy complaining.

Scout Traveler and Terra Photo Collections and Wallpapers

As much as I love the red lights in the bumper, surely those will end up being reverse lights? Or have those not been fully worked into the design yet?

    R2 Launch Watch

I think Silo Green is one of the best colors I've ever "hated." When I first saw it, I thought it was leaning too much towards brown, and really thought it was ugly. Though my truck when I was 16 was a Silverado in Pewter, and for as much as I like blues and other vibrant colors, until we get...

    Harvester

If this is to be accurate then scout would be pulling a major Tesla move, over promise, severely under deliver. And if they did that for one they'd likely do it for everything

New Scout Video: Forging the Future - The Sound Of Scout

The mix of wind and engine rumble was actually really pleasant to hear

Battery only or harvester.. starting to rethink it.

One thing I can say about my car, is when I get in it in the morning if it shows 265 on the dash I can get 265miles before it's dead. The cars estimations are very spot on

Battery only or harvester.. starting to rethink it.

It’s also from GM, however it has older battery. My Bolt can hit its EPA range at highway speeds and can easily exceed them with reasonable driving behavior.

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

With gas prices on the rise people will be looking at EVs again, it’s already stated happening at CarMax. When I took my father to get a truck, while waiting we talked with lady and the slight rise we already had cleared out most of there EV stock

    Re-think Headlight Design

There seems to be some context missed about this light/grill design. They using it as a "logo" in a since. As it has been shown in the vehicles as smaller detail, and on these stickers

I don't know how "real" but they are official enough to be in video games

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I would say, with current EV battery tech, heated seats and wheel is a must at a "base level" You can get better winter range by useing them as your main warmth and less havc. This is what i would do at Amazon in the Rivians and I was just about the only one to ever finish my route with range to...

Is Chrysler even still really here? They make one vehicle now?

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Be awesome to see some of the early outlines one day after launch
  17. RodorW

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

We can wish for scout to start with the lowest reservation models to get them out the door first. Quickest crowd to serve, BEV Terra

    Re-think Headlight Design

People already say it looks like bronco, it would be worse if they went round, but the original scout came first, but that doesn't matter to modern consumers
  19. RodorW

EV reservation holders, would you consider the Harvester

Fair thought, but it also depends on how long those stops are, if you're "full" charging at both, then it might be on the expensive side, but if you're just charging enough to get to the next one it might not be, not to mention uncontrollable environmental factors like weather and traffic
