  • From all of us at Scout Motors, welcome to the Scout Community! We created this community to provide Scout vehicle owners, enthusiasts, and curiosity seekers with a place to engage in discussion, suggestions, stories, and connections. Supportive communities are sometimes hard to find, but we're determined to turn this into one.

Additionally, Scout Motors wants to hear your feedback and speak directly to the rabid community of owners as unique as America. We'll use the Scout Community to deliver news and information on events and launch updates directly to the group. Although the start of production is anticipated in 2026, many new developments and milestones will occur in the interim. We plan to share them with you on this site and look for your feedback and suggestions.

How will the Scout Community be run? Think of it this way: this place is your favorite local hangout. We want you to enjoy the atmosphere, talk to people who share similar interests, request and receive advice, and generally have an enjoyable time. The Scout Community should be a highlight of your day. We want you to tell stories, share photos, spread your knowledge, and tell us how Scout can deliver great products and experiences. Along the way, Scout Motors will share our journey to production with you.

Scout is all about respect. We respect our heritage. We respect the land and outdoors. We respect each other. Every person should feel safe, included, and welcomed in the Scout Community. Being kind and courteous to the other forum members is non-negotiable. Friendly debates are welcomed and often produce great outcomes, but we don't want things to get too rowdy. Please take a moment to consider what you post, especially if you think it may insult others. We'll do our best to encourage friendly discourse and to keep the discussions flowing.

So, welcome to the Scout Community! We encourage you to check back regularly as we plan to engage our members, share teasers, and participate in discussions. The world needs Scouts™. Let's get going.

    More Merch options!

So after a day with the Vintage Racing collection I had some thoughts, first being I love the simplicity and colors. Second being some of the downsides. The print on the shirts feels like it will crack after a few wash&wears (hopefully not) but like it will break apart and start to flake off...

Is there a merch suggestion thread, I can’t find anything searching

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Alternatively I offer this very rushed phone edit of an idea, make them centers of the line clear and light up with amber when signaling

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

This what I paid for my bolt, driving 120-150+ Miles a day 5-6 days a week with extra travel in December for festivities

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

I agree that the corner light should stay red and follow through onto the rear gate. But the thing I have a problem with is how many vehicles. My current one included have a tail light that is also a brake light and is also a turn signal. It's pulling triple duty in at a certain point. It starts...

What is one feature you hope Scout will include that has not yet been shown?

Given the current design of the concepts, I am sure this won't be the case, but it would be really nice to have separated Amber turn signals on the rear instead of the brake/taillight acting as a turn signal

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

It would be great if it’s announced as a hybrid or an EV and watch the collective mind loss, even though they’ll complain regardless once the design is shown, since people always complain

It’s not that red, the lighting in my office, and the auto edit the pixel did, it’s not that red, it’s more of an orange/brown

    Scout Supply Merchandise Live

The majority of my shirts are plain white or black, (recently added a couple of grey and thought about adding som color by dying the white ones) but scout and Rivian merch I like adding because they’re simple and these shirts are comfortable, a little heavy for what I’m used to but not bad, if...

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Depending on the source, Tesla seems to have to the most reliable network, compared to say EA, I’ve yet to see the local superchargers to be offline, but same can be said for the L3s at the Electric company parking lot (those have been there longer), I can say the same for the Mercedes branded...

    Brake pedal behavior: Preference?

With one-pedal off in the bolt it’s always regen-ing when you let off the accelerator, even if it’s not actively slowing, but on the pedal the first, 15% or so of the break pedal is just regen strength, then friction breaks

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Do you mean Tesla Superchargers compared to other DC Fast Chargers or do you mean any DCFC (L3) Vs Destination Chargers (L2)

Scout Concepts in Blythewood, South Carolina, April 20, 2026

Didn't Jamie post a picture recently from a commercial shoot of the traveller as it appeared in LA just with the tire carrier

Actual delay official and order of deliveries confirmed?

I’m sure scout will launch with the Traveler but they will mix in BEV models starting in batch one, it’s unfortunate because I’m here for the long haul (waiting for Terra BEV) and it would take a massive failure on scouts part, or a change of circumstances on mine for me to cancel my...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

They have let “civilians” sit in the concepts, but you don’t seem to understand these are the equivalent of muti-million dollar art projects, you don’t pay to visit a museum and expect to touch or interact with every piece on display. These are one of a kind and cost too much to just build a...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Jamie is an employee, they can only say what they’re allowed to, but I do agree the best thing scout could do is get out ahead of things, if there’s any chance of a real delay, we should know, not be told we’re all good then get told otherwise in a month or so. I’m here for the long haul, but at...

    Extra, Extra....Read All About It!

Never owned a Jeep (technically we had a Dodge nitro) but a family full of mechanics that own and play with Dodge Jeep Ram, but won’t work on them if they’re newer than 06 I believe, the Chrysler and nitro are still running strong with little issue, but after briefly owning a 2020s charger I...

    Scout delayed??

Hopefully Jamie is the one to believe in this situation. However if any of it is true scout needs to get ahead of the narrative and make a public statement. Because IF it were true, the longer they wait to be forthcoming the more likely it is to have a negative impact from reservation holders...

We own EVs. Ask Us Anything.

Just as a lot side note here. Using the MyChevrolet app to plan a route if it uses the interstate it bases it’s estimations of range on various factors, distance, elevation, weather conditions, but an average speed of 73MPH
